How not to run a football club, for beginners:

1. You do not bring in your mate as "Director of Football" as a message to a manager you dont get along with. Back him or sack him, do not make his job tougher.

2. You do not sack a manager 1 month into a new season. Do it in the summer, let the new guy come in, take stock of what he has and decide what he wants to do in terms of transfers.

He is a great manager and any club would benefit hugely from him.

Doubt anyone would buy them. Very bad investment, loses over £100m per year, the amount spent on wages alone doesnt balance the books out. Let alone all the money spent on players.

Don't think Roman's bored at all. I think Mourinho went because Chelski were playing reasonably dull football and Abramovich was both unhappy with that and also wanted to "play" with buying some of the team.

Chelski play boring grind a 1-0 football. Very effective but doesn't draw in the punters or make the world go "ooooh!" - like Man U and Arsenal have when winning the League recently (and hopefully soon Liverpool too).

And Liverpool winning the Champs league at Chelski's expense before denying them another chance to be in the Final probably pissed Abramovich off too

I have never rated Rijkaared as a manager, god knows why?

Just looking at the Premier League, the Bolton job looks to be availabke if Jose wants to piss about till he gest something better

The USA international job is open to, I can see Jose trying his hand at the International scene, maybe even with Spain. Maybe then he can get those underachieving gits into a world beating side
