Rootkit city

Wifes friend has had FB page haxd and sent her (and 100's of others) links to vids that required flash update (yeah right) and she ran the setup.exe.
By the time I got to the PC it had 14 Rootkits and 32 different Trojans on it.
Had to run every remover under the sun in safemode.

The one that did the bizz was Trojan remover on free trail, quite impressed.

There is no software problem so bad that a low level format can't sort out.

Well done on cleaning out the junk though. Makes me think that I'd better do my quarterly sweep.
