Insane, but I can't help to think that Kaka must be a little butthurt seeing he got nothing in the same league as Ronaldo, but is still a worldclass player :D

its not jealousy, its his arrogance and playstlye that people dislike, no doubt he is one of the best players in the world but he was a world class prick from day 1

But think of the great memories he has left us with. Crying his way off Villa Park after nasty Reo-Coker wouldn't let him keep the ball is my favourite.

I will not miss him as it was probably even at the end, for every free kick he scored there was a dive for ever player he went round he tried to get another one booked and for every bit of skill there was a tantrum. I never rated him the way some do with the amount of free kicks penalty's he got to take his goal tally was not insane, his heading was great though he got on then end ofa lot of defender crosses.

i am a Leeds fan, but when Ronaldo got Rooney sent off in 2006 against Portugal, even i felt sorry for Rooney.

Ronaldo and mainly his agents have had a career plan for him all along, its no surprise he went for the most amount of money, hope he breaks his leg in the first game he plays in.

Leeds fan in wishing injury on some one shocker!

He didnt go for the money you clown, he went to fullfil a childhood dream and who can blame him? Real madrid are the biggest club in the world and why wouldnt he want to play in a league boasting the best players in the world? He wants to be an all time great and what better way to do that then playing with, and against the best players in the world in La Liga.

You can tell he is a great player because of all the hatred from people who never had a chance to support him. Love the jealousy in this thread.

yeah, break a leg, he should, and please stop with the stereotyical Leeds fan bs.

i know lots of nice Leeds fans.

if it was his boyhood dream why didn't he join them earlier, maybe they didn't want him then, as soze said, he scored alot of goals but he seems like a right arrogant ****, hes no diego maradona is he.

Spot on!

He is an outstanding talent. Pity his petulant nature, nasty habit of diving and the totally over the top theatrical behaviour epitomise everything I hate about football.

As for his quotes regarding the Premiership, comments like that have a nasty habbit of biting you on the arse. Be nice to see an English club beat Real in the CL next season.

Premiership is still the most watched league in the world.

They didnt want him because, shock horror, he wasnt good enough then, but now he is, they show they can just come and get who they want.

No, hes no Diege Maradona, but hes still head and shoulders above anyone he has left behind in the premiership.

Your so far off the mark it's not even funny. What jealousy is there is saying he was a fantastic talent but you wish he did not cheat as much as he did?
I'd say the same for any Arsenal player who did the same. I hated the way R. Perez dived about and was glad when he left. He was still great player with lots of talent.

You are clueless.

Go away.

Hahah, how does that make me clueless. He was winning trophys at Man U, where as real are winning pretty much nothing as of late. Then for how ever much ridiculous sum of money they are offering him he joins them. So the money has nothing to do with it at all? Sweet okay, glad we cleared that up.

Dude, hes stated for years he wanted to play for Real madrid at some point in his career. So he wins everything he can at United so he felt it was time to move on. It had nothing to do with the money you idiot. :twak:

*sigh*

Its called football. They have to say things like that to appease the fans. Just like kaka did in the days leading up to his transfer to Real madrid. If you knew anything about the Ronaldo situation, you would know he has publicy said for a few years his dream is to play for Real madrid.

I wish i was naive as you!! :D

I give up. How you can say it was nothing to do with the money is being naive. But you have your views and so do I, so meh.

Look, you said it was because of the money why he signed for Real madrid. No, it wasnt, is what im saying, it was his desire to play for the biggest club in the world. The money is secondary. If it was about money, why didnt his agent whore him around all the top clubs in europe?

If you want to talk about people signing purely for money, you would have to say the best example is Robinho. But there is no way you can claim that Ronaldo went to Madrid for money.

I believe he was forced out of AC Milan for the money, but him personally? Nah.

Really?? So if he was forced out, why didnt AC Milan force him out when City came knocking with twice the amount Real Madrid bought him for?
