- Negative effects (such as mesmerize, stun, root, snare, debuffs, etc.) have been modified so that casters of these types of spells will now receive Realm Points for using these types of spells in RvR. Please note that the amount of RP these classes get for these spells is less than directly damaging the enemies.

they made after all the CC players started playing alts because of mezz nerfs...and no, why would they want to balance the realms, Albion has always been overpowered, guess it will always remain that way...

well, how would you feel if you're standing on mmg doing nothing but CC while the other Albs start killing and getting RP. You're left on the wall to mezz and root try to make sure Albs have the advantage. The only sorcs I know that DD alot are the ones who got tired of not getting any reward for being a good mezzer.

I think it's a good idea to award RP to the mezzer, it will encourage more CC chars to mezz/root in stead of just dd and hit whatever he can.

I was only hib in emain this mornin with my bard, ran about mezzin people and runnin away just for a laugh. It was good fun, would have been nice if i could have got some rps too tho. :D

Hammers and diseases and all that the rest of you may come up with damage the player and were earning you RP's.

So no improvements for you guys.

I think the guys you mezz still need to die. The change will just give you a bigger chunk of the RP's that get divided.

This patch = virtually no change.

Currently, you mezz, your group kills, you get some rps.
You mezz, another group kills, you get 0 rps.

With this patch, you mezz, your group kills, you get some rps.
You mezz, another group kills, you get some rps.

The number of rps given by a target on death doesn't change (it only slightly shifts to which group the rps go), so it only really benefits (small benefit anyway) the solo CCer, or the zerging CCer.

Just charge in with some insta-AOE debuffs, then mez.

Doesn't matter who kills them then, the caster will still get some RP's.

Looks like those debuffs might come in handy after all ;)

Yep, with our ranged instas and 1500 range qc stuns.

yeah, ranged insta-aoe debuffs are just evil!

aoe insta-mezz and aoe insta-stun (in midgard's case) just don't compare :p

oh wait, you all get the aoe insta-debuffs too...

aye keeps are way too easy to take 10 mins if u got all equip in 1 fg suxs taking a keep then losing it 30 mins later mythics problem is they keep adding stuff to try to keep ppl interested but they rarely address current problems like keep taking

Yes i realised that, but i may have been only hib there but there were a few albs and mids around, would have been nice to get something once they killed eachother. ;)


And i think givin the ccer rps is very fair. Tonight a sb hit someone while we were fightin albs at mmg, i mezzed him when he tried to run, another grp spotted him and killed him. I get... 0 rps for my effort. Without me mezzing he would have got away so.. giv rps! kthx

overpowered? ok i tell u what give alb same classes and spells etc as hib and mid and we won't be overpowered any more! like long range stun or morphable tanks!

Taken from 1.54H notes:

- Now, when a guild claims an outpost, all guards from that outpost raise one level. Additionally, as the keep is upgraded - one level is added to every guard for every upgrade level on the keep. Note that the named guards at the relic keeps are "from" these outposts and enjoy the same upgrades.

So time to get busy with relic retakes when this is closing in, as ppl tend to dont like uber guards, well how will it feel to have ubers 10 lvls higher?

But finally upgrading a keep will make some difference atleast

Every guard being red... hmm, you know how it is when you try and take a BG keep with entirely lvl20's??
Defence + entirely red-to-50 guards = no-one's ever going to take it, ever, in a million years.

The question is with guards being 10 lvl's higher will a defended keep upgraded to level 10 be at all possible to take? :/

It will be possible I think, but the casual 10-man keep takes wont happen anymore.
Keep ping-pong will drop drastically.
Ubers at relics will be better too as i read it - cool.
