I wasnt aware ppl called it that.. especially since the original statement wasnt true... in no way do you have a higher chance of rolling a high number after having rolled a low one..
Btw EverQuest was once plagued by similar problems.. There were ways to make the random number generator to return high numbers, and also, it was possible to, by using certain chatchannels creating a roll text that was identical to a real roll..
The solution was simply to have everybody random first and then doing a "master roll" and checking who was closest..
ive noticed with /random 100 that my first roll will give 16 or so, the second will give 80, the third will give 20, the fourth will give like 87 and so on.....unless that was a one time chance
