Roleplaying group

I know there are some roleplaying guilds on Prydwen, but would anyone be willing to try a group, specificaly geared up for roleplaying, each character with there own background and using the Avatar within the game to live this life. Every action your character does, everything they say would be true to life. A specific timeframe for people to meet up on the servers who are all within the same level range and able to complete the same quests, tasks and maybe even EXP some.

To make this 100% crystal clear this would NOT be a group with a mission to reach L50 but something to fill one of those Alt slots and try to make some fun of the game rather than camping spawn sites and running around Emain. This would also not restrict us to fixed 8 group slots

I know from experience its VERY hard to play a true roleplaying character 100% of the time, hence using an Alt slot and some pre-aranged times where there will alsways be others around to roleplay with.

Alternativly, would the Templar consider running such a group as a guild activity and recruiting a new part time member

This has been something I've always wanted to try, something to bring some life back into the game.

We try and do that anyhow Nxs. Some succeed more than others and not everyone can do complete immersion, but essentially what you describe is what we try and do in our guild groups and over /gu. Read the Templar boards to check out some of the back stories and character histories if you're interested.

im not sure if this is a kind of flame, but if it is... STFU. Everyone is playing the game like he wishes, let it be wtfpwn4tehwin RvR, cash farming, powerleveling, sidi raids, guild groups etc. With every type of playing there is a chance that you bug other players EXCEPT the roleplaying style. I play daoc since a few weeks after retail and have never had ANY trouble with roleplaying people.

I seem to remember you applying to join the Templars just before christmas last year Flesh. Seems odd that you don't seem to have the same level of regard for roleplayers now as you did then. If I remember correctly (and I'm sure I do), you approached me about it when I was sort of an officer and I passed you on up the line.

I can't understand why you would attack an event like this?

Will it annoy you in anyway?
Will it get in your gaming space?
Will they roleplay you to RL death?

Bah whats the use, they should ban ppl like you on BW who flame/attack everyone without a reason.

Ok rather than forming a seperate group, maybe we should check out the templars guild, and apply for membership - if they will alow us to join with an alt and not our main character.

I'm stuck away from work for a few days - but will look into this when I return hope.
