Shameless pimpage, I know, but we were recently chatting to someone in Camelot who said he thought the Order of the Knights Templar, Prydwen's largest (only?) roleplaying guild was closed and not recruiting. This can't be further from the truth. Our twin goals are to bring together as many roleplayers as possible in Albion to provide a large and diverse roleplaying community, while at the same time becoming a real force in RvR (which we're now achieving with our allies the Griffon Knights).
If you want roleplay (staying in-character, not talking in "thee's" and "thou's"), a friendly, mature and large guild (currently 90 members and 150 characters), and to be part of a disciplined frontier force, then contact any Templar in-game and they'll point you to the nearest officer for an opening chat. Expect to be quizzed and maybe even asked to undertake the odd task. Willingness to stay in-character and ability to speak English is the only essential. Levels, classes and nationality are irrelevant.
If you want to talk about the World Cup over the guild chat, then, err, we're probably not the guild for you. But good luck anyway !
Check out www.knightstemplar.cc have a look at the laws and charter and see what you like as a first step.
