The Shadow Wraiths is a roleplaying guild and we are looking for members to join us and help make the guild into a big happy family :)

We are slowly building our members and some characters are getting to 'mid' levels. We have a range of members from levels 5 to mid 20's, with all character races/classes.
However it is difficult to find the right people in game and it is difficult recruiting to a 'smaller' guild as people expect instant results and are drawn to the massive guild. For instance - how do you know people want a roleplaying guild - the 'big' (read huge) guilds seem to snap people up very quickly - how do potential roleplayers know we are a roleplay guild. Anyway I am hoping to contact some of you potential recruits via these forums!

Characters are needed to get involved in running the guild. This is a fairly new guild, so this is a good chance to get onboard and involved from the beginning. I am open to suggestions and offers of help in running the guild. Guild events should start to happen soon and i will need people to help out and to organise their own events. Characters can get fully involved with helping to run the guild if they wish, or can be a 'normal' member and take part in guild events in the normal way. As with any guild we need dedicated members to make it work - the guild leader can't do it all on his own :)

I expect to be playing this game for a long time yet (6 months subscription just restarted!) so we will be around for a while.

EDIT: Level is irrelevant, we welcome anyone, the main thing is your attitude rather than the amount of time you play or what level you are.

I assume you have registered and post regularly on the RP forums at Valoria? I haven't been there for a while, but it's full of like minded people, so lots of friendly faces, and it's also one of the places the people who want to RP will go.

Perhaps it would also be a good idea to explain what you mean by roleplaying - people have different ideas of what that word means - I, for one, would not want to be in a guild where everyone runs around going 'ye, thee, art thou' etc... (and left a 'RP' guild on alb pryd because of it)

Good luck in building your guild - just remember, even the huge guilds started of with only 8 people standing at the guild registrar..

Re. roleplaying. We're pretty relaxed about it really, people should try to play in character, but don't have to thee and thou all over the place (thats not necessarily correct anyway). I call it 'light' roleplay :) Better info on the website (as I'm too lazy to type it all in here).

Hmm, when i look on web-page, it brings me to a link, saying web-page has moved, i click on link and get a big thing saying

404 Object Not Found

I vote emblem number 6 i think,

Am now level 15 healer :D

Am trying to catch up to you, so then i can team, with you and you then have a healer your level,

Don't play much during the day due to work/family. Hopefully on this evening and tomorrow morning if your around. Check if anyone else is logged on though - any members over Initiate level can invite you to join the guild :)

All hail Soulbane Shadowstalker for making the first Roleplaying guild on excalibur! ( first one i heard about on excalibur) i hope yours grows into a strong large guild like the order of the knights templar. if i wasnt so ocuppied on my paladins i would join you.

good luck and i hope your guild doesnt die.

ps. roleplaying in midgard is extremely funny with stupid no-brainer trolls and evil kobolds, dwarfs and their hatred of elves and craftmenship. i cant wait when i start playing my norse/dwarf again.

Thanks Subbiz - I've seen all the emblems taken now and the one we look like getting is different (obviously some pattern/colour similarity will be there - theres only so many choices) :)
