Roleplay event anyone?

There has been memorials, Goa events etc made to put all realms together, cooperate etc. But afaik it has not been done with pure rvr intentions. So what about we do it? Gether up laaaarge forces from all three realms, go to 3 different spots and determine a place for the battle. Then wreak havoc upon eachother.

Q: Where?
A: Dunno yet, but i bet we need to do it either in alb frontier or in less populated parts of the mid/hib frontiers, ie. Jamtland, yggdra, collory, breifine etc.

Q: How?
A: people from all 3 realms gather as many people they want/need. Try to work out a tactic, get to their spot.

Q: Why?
A: For fun, realmpoints and to determine whos realm is ze strongest.

Q: Will GoA participate to help/avoid being banned for talking with realm enemies during gameplay?
A: Dunno, anyone who has held in large events and has contacted goa plz give advice on how to get them to help.

Any tips, voulenteers, ideas or flames are welcome.

Hard to get all three realms to start the fight exactly the same time.. will be one realm that will come a few minutes after the other two already started is my guess.

I have a better idea. Zzang takes off all his armour and weapons and runs around Emain "naked". When found he continues to run but well eventually be caught and killed. He is then rezzed, given a respectable amount of time to run off again (say 5 seconds) before he his caught and killed again. The realm (Hib or Alb) with most kills of Zzang on the night is declared the winner.

For a follow up a contestant from Albion and Hibernia could assume the Zzang role for the evening.

Sounds like fun, the lag problem just needs to be sorted. Have no idea how well the Server/zones works together. But if we could get GOA to improve the Zone we are using like when GOA made that memorial so all could gather in emain etc. ?
Would be fun to really test those area artifact abilities aswell.

But still, consider albion has allmost the twice numbers as Hib has?
In a zerg vs zerg we will be outnumbered, and with huge lag skills doesnt count as much

It would be cool if we could line up the armies like a battlefield of old, perhaps on the hills around the aqueduct in Hadrian's Wall -- within sight of each other but not attacking until everyone is ready. The leaders could work out any tactics they wanted, such as one or two FGs trying to flank the enemy while the others charge. On the word "go", the battle would commence, etc etc.

Sounds to me like PBAE will win the day, tho, and this is perhaps the problem. In those big fantasy battles like in LotR, there are never a lot of casters around, so most of the fighting is hand-to-hand. Throw in a hundred PBAErs in Sauron's army and even the Rohirrim would be in trouble, to be honest

And for all those people already flaming Zzang for wanting to pl his SM/RM's rps, Dont judge until it happens. If that does happen then everybody will know he is a rp hungry wanker and not to be respected or trusted again by anybody. Until that happens Zzang gets a For a Good idea and will to get it goin.

Yes, having 2 large Armys Fight each other and using other tactics sounds fun . Perhaps giving a number and Certain Class requirements, Like. Each Realm must bring at least 30 Archers / short / x-bow xD users to the battle field in case the general signals a volley . A specialist Group of Mages like for albion, Merlin's Posse! . A restriction on numbers of mages might be a good idea though because who ever has the most pbae power would win otherwise. Some where in HW would be a good idea maybe as Belo said earlier, Just past the aquaduct or the HW / Pen Plain.

Either way this is Done it sounds fun, Its worth asking Goa at least.

We can do it in Pennine, Jamtland or Breifine. There are 4 keeps in those zones.
Each realm takes one keep and we get GOA to make the 4th neutral.
The armies start at their keep and first realm to take the neutral keep wins!
That could be a fun keeptake =)

I would of course play my buffbot, but respec to lots of cave first.
