I feel I am responsible for an incident the other day by getting several Albs exp killed in Ellylls. Godofrodo was one of them. But hey, Combat exp'd killed my group at Grogans on purpose when I was an ickle lvl 40 SB, and reguarly boasts about it even now!

So you know what they say; 'what goes around, comes around' ....

By the way did I ever tell you we actually don't care by not having any relics? We're having to much fun making you Albs run back and forth from Sauvage gates to Excalibur on a daily basis

we were in Boldiam by 9:30pm waiting for people and rams to arrive and planned on pulling guards at 11pm, we were already there when we heard about large numbers moving through emain and saw the keep take messages, don't see how it can be seen as opportunistic...

and no we can't take a heavily defended relic, but can albs? if albs think they can why have all their raids taken place when they know there will be little or no resistance, sure tonight was a step in the right direction but until you actually take a defended relic i don't think you should go pointing fingers...

hehe I should not even bother to comment on posts of hibs and mids saying its coincidence that they happen to raid the 3rd party within an interval of 20 minutes (wich might be possible) and then saying its coincidence again that they attacked excalibur while rams were about to go up on the 2nd door of Dun dagda. And i dont think killgorde is stupid enough to believe that a rellic attack where we walk around all over emain with an army that big taking all the keeps on the path to dun dagda one by one can be considered to be a "serious" rellic attempt. We wanted to show both midgard and hibernia that albion can take a defended rellic at primetime and do it anytime, and you both knew damn well we would have gotten away with it if someone hadn't run off to his other computer to call for help ( Boohoo Boohoo, big bad albs are coming for our rellic and we can't stop em boohoo boohoo, been sitting here waiting for the albs in the rellic keep for an hour now and they get closer and closer plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz DO SOMETHING to help us plzzzzzzzz ) Then again it must have been coincidence and im sure the IRC screenshots were "forged"
We could never have lost from this rellic attempt it was a win win situation even if we failed there would have been glory in our defeat for doing it the way we did. And we did win, defenders did not kill us and once more it required a 2nd realm to turn the tide.
Just wondering when you heard the reports of the albs headed for dun dagda and keep after keep was going down ... did you pee your hibbie pants ? If you want to team up against us plz feel free to do so but dont be surprised if we will only be more determined in our actions. As for now we are tolerating your little trips to sauvage Killgorde but keep it up and you will eventualy find yourself at the receiving end of a warm welcome whenever you set a foot upon albion soil.

Hibernia relic would have most likely gone down, if Midgard hadn't attacked Excalibur while we were at it. (On a side note: I still really don't think, it would be a smart move for Albion to get those power relics, because I know we can not afford to defend both relic keeps over a long period of time against two realms.)

As for attacking same time we attacked in Hibernia. No complaints from my side. Absolutely viable tactics. If the raid was planed before hand or not - who cares? Still very laughable, that one Hib goes on irc and suggests Midgard to attack, so they don't loose.

We in Albion are used to fighting 2 realms now for a while - we are actually proud of being able to keep both of you at bay. And of course we can't prevent every relic raid.

However I hate the flame wars that are done on this board. You did this, we did that, yadda yadda yadda - always the same. Don't u get bored of it ever? There is some real posts, with thought and points points behind them, that could be discussed - but nobody can talk about anything in this atmosphere.

One thing I really dont understand: How Midgard behaves in all of this:

Hibernia was allied with you, you spared them many times and to thank you, they went behind your back to get your power relic.

Hibernia takes the third power relic from Albion and you clap and cheer, instead of worrying about your own realm.

Still your only enemy seems to be Albion. I know you all hate Albion for the amount of people and for the amounts of idiots that run around here - and you are right about it. There is plenty idiots here - I don't know if there is these kinds idiots in Hibernia or Midgard, since I never played there. If you relly have none, then you should consider urself lucky, because at least ours speak in a language you don't understand. Actually, you should feel bad for us, instead of picking on us

You have proven you can think tactics - well some of you have. Do you think it's tactically smart what you are doing? I do not.

As for attacking our relic daily now - keep it coming. Every relic raid that fails makes our defenses stronger, every keep you claim in our frontier makes more people RvR there, and fixing relic doors almost every day now, makes our guilds grow closer and closer. Yes it's loads of money and you might wear us down in weeks and weeks to come, but that's a while to go - and who knows, maybe Hibernia will just move in with a successfull raid after you wore us down and end up having all relics - sure would fit in the big picture.

And just to say it loud and clear again: The last days were lots of fun - keep up the good work all

Arthwyr .. you really make me laugh. I don't know where you get the idea that you actually could have taken the relic. And do you really think that you had us Hibs scared by your taking of our keeps? Yes, you made it perfectly clear that you intended to come for our relic .. only a fool would have been unable to see the pattern of keep captures was intended to provide you with a safe passage back to your TK with a relic. We also knew that you albs have such bloated egos that you would have been falling over each other in your eagerness to get to Dagda, so we just sat there quietly waiting for you. Albs, you failed. Now stop whining like little boys, and just admit that the Hib defence was stronger than you expected. The players behind Hib characters are smart enough to defend what really matters, and not stupid enough to go running out to every keep you might decide to attack.

I really do belive we would have taken the relic if we had not been called to defend excalibur. I don't think we failed, in fact I think we accomplished exactly what we set out to do. That was to draw as many hibs to defence as we could. By the numbers on your walls I'd say it was a raging success. The hib defence wasn't stronger than we expected, it was just about right on the number of what we expected. Really tho, can't wait to do it agin, tho there will be a sizeable force sitting at excalibur next time waiting for the mid vultures to come in a try to pick up some leftovers as they have proven they can not make a serious relic attempt let alone attepmt a defended relic.

I never usually get involved in these silly flame wars but for once I have something to say.

Of course we were expecting large numbers of Hibs to defend the relic, otherwise we'd have gone straight there. Al lthe way through the raid my group were saying 'Of course this isn't going to work but it's going to keep those Hibs busy for a while'. When we got there and the army was still completely alive and refreshed when the first door went down, we actually started to believe it might work and I still believe it might have done. (Please note I say might noone can know for sure) To hear Hibs saying that they 'owned' us or anything else is just silly we suicided, don't make yourselves look foolish after putting up such a good raid and good defense.

You using the same shovel as Herbal, ¥ØÐÄ? Probably about time it was disinfected. You'll be hard pressed to find me whining about anything little green man from Dagobah. (Except that damned ten minute str/dam buff we thanes have to live with for our sins - bloody annoying that ). But as for taking the piss? Thats my forte, and you Albs donate urine so easily .

I did hope many moons ago with the early KTA raids to shift the emphasis away from Emain as it was boring the crap out of me at a time when nobody ported to Hadrians. Someone once said to me back in my noob days that no one EVER went to Alb Frontier because of the big bad mobs. I did point out that the Albion crowd actually had the same handicap. Now we have a healthy population of peeps always ready to come and have some "alternative" fun in Albion on a daily basis (/salutes Hibs as well)...so maybe I succeeded in some small way? I challenge anyone who has come raiding with me to deny that guerilla warfare in Albion is 10 times more fun than Emain zerging.

As to relics? They count for bugger all to me except 1 thing: A lure to draw the enemy out and kick his arse one or more times a day (average per day 5k RP and a lot of fun) in a frontier the local riff raff hardly bothers with (Ellys aside). The game is a helluva lot more satisfying when dishing out the pain/hearing about Albion lemmings in Emain or exp'ers dragged away from levelling/seeing general widespread panic on the Sauvage highway etc than being the poor sod sitting at a relic keep waiting for an attack that will probably never happen, believe me . If Middies put the possession of relics as the ultimate priority (spare me that day, Lord) we would probably do the same as the Albs and raid in the early hours. Some idiot (we do have one or two in Midgard I admit) did suggest taking all 6 at 5am....but where's the fun and just as importantly challenge in early hours relic-raiding and a 99% probability of success? You Albs can probably answer that question. I prefer it when I know the locals have enough peeps on (be they in Emain or wherever) to mount an effect defence (if their heads aren't totally encompassed by their sphincters).

We obviously as realms have differing views on what constitutes "fun" and "a challenge." All I can say is, the Cutting Crew are having a blast atm...hope you Albs are too

I'm actually quite sad that the mids intervened, I don't think it was cross team planning. For your information, not all the hibs were dagda, there was no point, we could not fit more inside but a force of 80 hibs was on the way to excal, we basically turned back when you started to suicide. No we probably would not have managed to get your other relics but we sure as hell would have got you to do exactly what the middies got you to do.

Well done to Alb for tsking most of our keeps and putting together so many people that computers crashed, well done to all those hibs inside dagda for getting there to defend and recapture our keeps later, well done to the middies for putting together 2 relic raids.

On the whole it was a weekend of epic proportion.

Item: I seem to remember Middies taking a Hib relic at "primetime" - have you??? Or are you suggesting that the Hibs decided to give us this relic because of some "alliance" I know absolutely fuck all about? I suggest you purchase a nosepeg as a new member of the Albion Shit-Shovelling Battalion along with any other Alb that talks about this 2 on 1 bollocks.

Two dates spring to mind when comparing Albs and Middies:

1st September 1939 for the Albs and 6th June 1944 for the Middies. Work it out.

Constantly ganked? Aye, in Emain with the zergs I think everyone does when numbers are against em. In Albion? ROFL - maybe I die twice a day if you are lucky.

And as to Renaris? 5-10k a day RP in Sauvage/Pennines I can live with as a slow-arsed Thane without stealth working in the kick-ass team that Cutting Edge is thank you very much. Renaris is just a place to put our feet up .

Respect is earned not granted...and there are a fair few Hibbies out there that deserve it. One or two Albs as well, I will admit, but noticeably non of those who make complete dickheads of themselves on this forum.
