I'd happily move away from Scotland, but that doesn't mean I dont like the place, Im just not into the whole patrionism thing that seems to arise as soon as any whiff of difference is put towards anyone of two (or more) different, but ajoining, countries.

To be honest, I have nothing against the English, no English person has ever beaten, maimed, raped or hurt me in anyway, so I have no reason to...and I'd imagine the majority of the English feel the same towards us.
Move to Finland IMO. :p

I wonder if when the referendum for the regional parliaments comes up will the North have Geordie, Mackem and Smoggie variants :)

Scot living in England (well Newcastle) and married to an English woman, I personally do not see a problem :D

Might have been said allready in the post but in case it hasnt, thats actually an official language, its called Ulster-Scot or something, and its english written as its pronounced with the Northern accents

It was created in Ulster afaik because the N.Irish governement was putting so much money into the Irish Language that the other guys decided to make their own language and have it funded.

When it was first created they needed 'translators' lol, and it was a well paid job, needless to say everyone in the country applied ;)
