Will be more fun having a big 5 instead of the big 4 though. Guessing it might take some time to, i don't see their plans of winning the league next year and champions league the year after happening at all to be honest, not unless they spend a billion or so.

Pretty shocked and annoyed at losing Robinho to city though. There's simply no reason for him to of done it other than a bit of extra money, i bet his agent is laughing as his ass off now.

Poor old shaun-wright-philips, sold by Chelsea because Robinho was to replace him and now he's been replaced straight away :p

Chelski never met madrids valuation the way the guy at madrid was talking it was city or nowhere for him

To those questioning SWP position at city, he plays on the right wing. Robinho plays left sided.

To those still adament that Fergie talked to Berbatov with out permission. LOL. Way to buy into spin.

Spaniard papers report a price between 40 n 42M euros.

Aaaanyways, mercenaries dont have room in any decent team. Chelsea fans be lucky, ManCity fans (is there any? ) beware with O'bicicleto. He wants to be the best football player in the world yeah....... the best paid. If any1 had any shade of doubt, i guess this move will clear things up (and good job Real managers, at least they didnt strenghten a direct CL rival)

A vivid proof of what a bad enviroment and eager managers can do for a youngster.

Be gone Robinho, we wont miss you :iagree:

Ppl already talking about them buying the league like chelsea ect but Utd spent almost same money yesterday? Fact we ahve to face is more and more teams have a lot of funds nowadays and it will grow, Wenger was told he could have £30mill for a single player if needed, man u did it,chelsea can, mc did it as seen. For a long time liverpool and man united was top dogs and it was they who had pick of the transfers, then all of a sudden arsenal sneaked up their slowly but surely so no one noticed or complained, then bham chelsea dropped in like a brick and everyone noticed and started to QQ. Of all the players complaining tho to me the most vocal always seemed to be man u and liverpool fans. Dont you admit chelsea have made things more competitive and fun for us fans? and im hopeing MC do same and make big 4 into big 5 and then other clubs will get taken other and follow suit till we come to a point where atleast half the league stand a chance of winning the league. :) maybe im dreaming tho

I can't wait to see Robinho's face when he arrives in Manchester and is given a Blue shirt to wear.

'Is this the new away kit?'
'No, our home kit is blue'
'Hang on a sec...... Shit.'

Liverpool are in serious risk of being pushed out of the top 4 this season. More and more teams are having huge takeovers with vast amounts of cash being made available for their managers. We have a small stadium and two owners who hate each other and wont make any money available. Man City could be more dangerous than Chelski due to their larger fan base and bigger stadium.

Robinho probably thinks he joined Chelsea, its like when Tevez joined west ham he had no clue of what was going on.

I wouldnt be surprised to see Robinho trying to get into the Chelsea dressing room when they come up against City next week, 32 million is a joke :p

What about Petrov and SWP?

Interesting article here r/e Robinho

BBC SPORT | Tim Vickery blog

Could be the next Shevchenko ;)

All good players but Brazilians are Brazilians at the end of the day.

Robinho will be fine imo he has 2 other Brazilians there so they can all support each other and get used to the British football.

Lol - just because someone's Brazilian it doesn't mean they can adapt everywhere.

Jo played in Russia, i don't know much about the football but i would guess it's a damn sight different to Spain.

He could be amazing, he could be a donkey, only time will tell.

Jo would be used to the cold weather Russia in november/december is cold :p

I meant Brazilians are exciting i think Robinho will be fine personally he will be at a club where he can play week in week out instead of Real where the coaches are fucking idiots to be honest.

Of course it is - we were after him most of the summer and Madrid come out with some hypocritical bollocks and sell him to City instead :p

But it's not a massive loss, we have some good youth that hopefully will get some more time on the field instead.

Paim was said to be exquisite last night on his reserves debut :)

Anywhere better than stacking yet more a direct champions league contender :p

Tbh the way they're going about all this potential bids it's just gonna turn all the clubs against doing business with them.
