My god hours after your post and still no reply?

/me does a sympathy reply.

"I would have expected a bidding war over fowler, and Liverpool not to seel him to the first (low) offer. And selling him to a premiership competitor will come back to bite them in the arse."

Yep,
This has happened :(
It looks like after a medical today he'll be moving and chances are Liverpool will be saying good bye to the championship...
Man, I think they are crazy, although saying that the last thing they would want is to wait it out like they did with McManaman, and then lose him on a Bosman free at the end of next season.

Being an avid Liverpool fan though I think this sucks, how can you sell a player who has averaged 1 goal every 2 games in his career??!!

Back to Fowler - do you think he will get a game at leeds with

Mark Viduka
Harry Kewell
Alan Smith
Keane.

yes.

kewel is played on the left flank as standard now, a waste of his talents, but gets him regular games.

The others will have to fight hard for spots, and fowler is more than capable of winning one.

Alan Smith looks as though he'll spend more time suspended than playing this season if he carries on like he did against Villa.

Man U manage to keep four top strikers happy, the "supersub" concept is the way to play, especially in Europe.

Dwight York may be going to Liverpool though as a possible replacement

I'm a Liverpool fan so I'm not too happy with Fowler going. But I also think Fowler is wasted on the bench. He's not a very good substitute. He needs regular football so if he gets that chance at Leeds then good luck to him.
I hope he scores loads of goals as long as Leeds lose lots of games.

Smith will be sold to Spurs.

Yorke won't be going to Liverpool. He may end up going back to Villa at a knock down £6m. (just a rumour).

I don't watch much football, however when I do happen to stumble upon the occasional Liverpool match Robbie Fowler constantly displays talent of no more than school-yard ability.

He fumbles, he shoots wide... only getting lucky goals once in a blue moon. Owen outclasses him in every way every time.

But hey, what do I care? I don't watch much football... ;-)
