RM - pointless ???

we had very fun last night Ralgedi, too bad the TB group spotted us when we tried to hide from them in the last battle, i think that if we had taken em from behind we would have stand a fair chance to gank all of em.

That was funny we almost ran passed you but someone saw a kobbie, turned out to be a full group

We wherent even a guild group but some semi-gimped-caster-for-the-fun-group... (Average RR was pretty 'high' around RR7)

Caster groups really need 'the supprise' on another group, if you have that you can go a long way (and taking out key classes from the start really fast)... Mids have a small advantage due to insta-stun/mez... But still...

Its been a discussion with us, and we feel that caster groups are 'fun' at times just to do them... But their not viable as 'gank' groups...

Caster groups can be really nice against high volumes of low-rr enemies... Low resists, low determination, low class knowledge... List goes on...

In high end RvR though, their mostly tank food...

My Thane is waiting for a later patch, lvl 48 already and out on some hunts when there's an extra shielduser needed. Not more then keepdefender atm.

the prob with Cooin, Humakt and Ralg in same group would be that 2 of the chars are darkcarvers, so we´ll lack Pbt.

best setup would prolly be to have 2 chars with 26 supp and rest Dark, and one debuffer. Wouldn´t it?

2 guys nuking with 47 Dark nukes would kinda hurt.

And Kod, get your shammy to 50 and spec him better so I canl come as Kallio to show that Thanes still can do the trick

Now we just need a skald, a warr, and couple healers

Hmmm....

My shaman Sax will be cave46/aug22/16-17mend, cause i simply enjoy keepbattles too much. End3 is pretty useful anyway but in a group such as this i prefer taking Kod since he's a darkcarver.

Caveshammies are good at rooting thou and thats a good CC aswell, atleast on tankgroups. but as it is today most tankgroups are in Midgard and thats where we are too so. Would be cool to run in a castergroup anytime anyday thou.

Don't get why people are saying pbt is essential for RMs - it's no use for gank groups... assisting tanks can pretty much ignore it, especially on a cloth caster.

pbt however is quite good against low RR folks - along with all the aoe spells etc.

guys if you get your "gimp" group out in Odins we'll try and find you with our HG gimpgroups (with just about any mix of classes from day to day - we even have an actively playing enhance cleric)

Usually have between 1 and 2fg though so bring some friends (don't like saying "no" to people)

Rarely have we the 3 det tanks, bof, sos, both resist buffs etc... so you should do ok

(interestingly noone uses friars in gank groups - so cold damage isn't so gimped against albs..)

different dot's should stack but my own dot's don't stack, not that i know of anyway.

I never really got the mentality of people who want the perfect group every time and who reroll the foth character everytime mythic give love or weils the nerf debuffing...
I remember when you wouldn't consider a group withought at least 1 rm, 1 skald, 1 healer, 1 shammy and then tanks.
wonder how many people will be dragging out their full spec sm's to lvl the next foth when savages are nerfed (or even lvling a thane to 50 when (oh god please when, not if) mythic make us thanes viable again ;-)
