Ripping audio from VLC files - any1 know ?

Anyone know how to take a .VLC video and rip the audio off it into MP3 format ?

Don't know if they do .VLC but you can try, they're the two websites I use for file conversions.

if you can watch the video you can use something like audiodub to take the record the sound from the soundcard output.

Hmm...I'm really after a clean cut conversion rather than taking an audio recording of it.

Zamzar doesn't support VLC format. Tried using vixy.net but got a "Header error", so vixy couldn't do it. Bummer.

You could try opening in Audacity [Free Download From [SIZE=-1]Audacity: Windows] then export as a *.mp3,

It might not work but you can try, its a good program for these types of things.
