I don't want the hardware. Why in this age do I need a DVD or blu ray to get triple play. Just let me pay for a service that lets me download to blu ray version watch t .. Keep it if I like or delete it as long as I sub.

Hmv's of this world are antiquated. And so I cinema IMO

Agreed apart from the cinema part - not everyone can afford big screens and surround sound, and going to the cinema is a great experience imo. Although not everyone can afford to go either these days :/

Amazon US have a similar service where you subscribe to a show and can watch it online very soon after it airs. Love Film is supposed to be that over here but our copy write laws seem to be ridiculous.

Not really cheap $1.89 an episode if you buy the season. But it shows its possible.

£1.20 an episode.. I think that's reasonable tbh, so long as the quality etc is good and I get to keep it.

I used to pay £120 for a TV license so.. meh :)

I think it's extortionate and wouldn't pay it - it'd work out much more expensive than a TV licence for a years worth of viewing - and look at what the BBC provide for that.

I'd pay 12p. Maybe. TV just ain't worth it any more.

If it cost me that much to stream an episode it'd cost me £120 per month! No chance.

I would pay £1.20 an episode for a 720p mkv rip that I can download in the night it airs in America and it is mine to keep. If I can watch it on XBMC I would be happy. £1.20 to stream it once on Amazon is far too much. But £1.20 an ep is around the same as a DVD / blu ray purchase.
