The SM didn't get kicked out in the end ... I only kicked Sarabi for obvious reasons .... the sm stayed all along untill group seperated.

Even tho i asked him politely many times to leave and that i have replacements, but he stayed :swords:

You dont have to be 2fgs to gain decent xp in malm at lair.

Saw a group doing the Exes at the lair, a group of 5 ppl's where the highest lvl char was 45, rest was lvl 42-44. They did pretty well and with a decent speed. Was funny watching them do Disiples and 2 Exes at the same time.

There are a few nice spots where you can xp with only 1 group, you just have to find them first

Lyonesse is now used for powerlevelling. May see 1 group a week at the lower goblins. Nobody kills trees anymore. The dunters are hogged by necros and the telamons are farmed for necro items. That's about it. Place is almost as deserted as the other realms swamp areas.

Just wanna say what I think about this "Malmo brings out worst in people" and other sayings along those lines. I don't really think it's excuse for anything, if someone is being an arse to me in malmo (or anywhere), I'm not gonna be their best friend afterwards.
It's just an exp-place and popular one since there's fast spawns and alot people. Been leveling my savage there lately and had nice time often. Sometimes there's people that are just impossible to get along with but suppose you get those anywhere. If someone joins group with the attitude to complain at once there's any reason (usually exp), then whole group is probably going to have not-so-good time.
Maybe the exp problems which come often when exping in 2 groups (it's hard to balance it the way game works) affect a bit but in many occasions we've been able to deal with them.
Of course, often when you say anything about exp, no matter how constructive your comment is, some people will announce that you're whining etc.

As for the exp problems, I think most common cause must be getting 47+ people to g2. Exp will be bad for those high people because they can't possibly leech enough to supply themselves but others (levels 40-45) in g2 will get great exp. This exp, however, is off G1 and then there is a problem.
I'm not sure what happens to exp that is cut by a exp cap but in these cases, many in g2 are often hitting their caps already and also there's penalties applied for low 40's people when there's 48+ or so in group.

Not commenting on anything else in this thread, I just had to ask this. Wasn't this part eased up a bit in one of the last patches we had? I seem to remember that. The grouping ranges possible were widened or something...

Yep, it used to be so that 45+ gave penalties to 40. We tried it out with 50 and low 40's and there was penalties so that's where I got my estimate from. It is not accurate.

I called him lame due to the fact he leached and didn't care to stop after being asked to , tell a member of my guild a load of bullshit, wreck the groups at the time , and mostly to stand there shouting outrageous comments all night and turning it into a big joke.

I quiet frankly wish this thread to not persist on, the intentions on which i started has had an outcome one which i expected.

Some people agree and some staying neutral , but for those who try to back fire this and put my name into the bad again .....well....

I agree that a 50 sm shouldnt be in g2 since hes ruining the low 40s xp and if hes doing enough damage, he can ruin g1 xp aswell.

but you pointed out that ppl that are leechers are lame (in generel i guess), i just mentioned out that you leeched the night before.

And please do not msg me on irc telling me that i am way wrong and pathetic and i approved of your leeching, i would never do that. I, in fact, like malmo, and i like the list system, if people cant handle it go somewhere else.
Only thing bad about it is when the groups are setup really good, for instance we did pbae style 2fg with list system, i had the list that day, we didnt loose a single group member in 5-6 hours i believe. XP was the best ever. And in that case i agree, malmo list is hell. Give me the list anytime.

Cami i was on ur list for 5+ hours that night so i went and tried out my debuff and lifetap of few mobs , did for max 5 mins then u said stop so i did .
I did not however make a group with more than 1 and leach ignoring the query to stop.

I have to agree, if he did all those things you are right, he shouldnt be in the groups, but the listholder is merely the listholder and not the king of malmo, if the majority agree the desicion, whatever it is, is carried out. If not, you should just keep your mouth shut.

I am not ruining your name, you done that already yourself. And i assume i am one of those "who try to back fire this" - I am not, i totally agree if he's leeching he should be told on, you cannot stop him, you can tell his gm what hes doing, to the others and to the guild name, and after that take the actions needed. Kill him the old saaug way, or whatever people decide.

1. it was the famous night of pbae xp, another group was started but died out since there wasnt any decent cc'er (read 47+) on the list they got from me. That is why noone joined, its kinda hard to have more than 8 people in 1 group. IT IS STILL NO REASON TO LEECH!

Why would people do that? I find it outrageous that you cannot find your spot on the list, if you want to test damage, go kill vein spiderlings....

And yes i understand why they will be kept anonymous why would anyone approve on that?
