Let's start off by saying that after the last thread, i don't think i should take part in discussions that have any of those volatile issues. I don't seem to have a handle on either culture, way of talk in text or whatever on my arsenal. So i'll try my best from now on to keep away, or if i do have a comment, i'll keep it at points i can actually help with(like game knowledge or some such).

I think it'll make an easier forum experience for all involved, me included. I don't particulary enjoy people getting hellbent on me.

So, to keep it short, sincere apologies to any who've lost their mind with me, i'll keep my mouth shut a bit more and stick to games and funtimes, like i used to do way back when.

Ofcourse i don't expect people to go "Oh cool" about it, but maybe with time we can put all that, to be honest, crap behind us.

fcourse i'll disagree on some things with people, but i'll try my best to just keep it out of the forums as all things considered, it just doens't work.

I'm ofcourse always open to 1on1 discussions if some people like to have one, from my experience those don't go south that easy.

Be it as it may, i don't like causing trouble and if my opinions cause rouble, it's easier to keep 'em to myself on more volatile issues.

Taking the opposite side is useful at times tho - you cant have much of a discussion if everyones on the same side and dispute can bring out enlightening facts on occasion - quite often it boils over but thats just people

I think its a bit sad that people get to the point where they feel they can't post anymore for fear of upsetting other posters.

I myself don't post much any more due to my somewhat blunt way of communicating has upset people in the past (not intentionally) or they completely missed the funny side of a post, although i still stand by the things i have said.

Everyone has an opinion which they are perfectly entitled too but maybe we should show a little more tolerance when replying and leave all the name calling bollocks in the playground where it belongs.

come back to FHOT, we have our misguided ppl there sure ! but if i compare say Gorbo to say Chipper...OT is all sweetness & light.

also, on almost all the issues the whine babies get said knickers in a twist - i happen to agree with you. some people have no clue what so ever what the term "devils advocate" means. I argue with friends all the time, on purpose - they argue the other point, a diametric POV is in my opinion a necessity to understand any complicated issue.

thank god not everyone does have the same point of view, FH would get very boring very quickly if the whiney masses took over.

I'll be honest Toht on many an occasion in the past your style of writing and debating style has irritated me. When this happens I generally exercise my right to stfu and move on. It takes two to tango. I don't agree with many of the views of FH forum posters and as a liberal lefty often feel a bit out of my comfort zone with comments.

I try not to get bent out of shape by what I see/read on t'internet. I'm grumpy enough with the state of society, the world etc etc without going on some ill-advised morale crusade on t'internet too.

TL/DR version. Yes you've been a pita in some threads but people don't have to hit reply
