I just want to know what you guys think of this convo. It's a guild whom have been following me for quite some time and /sending abuse etc, sarcastic comments, I am not really too bothered but I'd just like to get some opinions. The guy below has obviously been following me or watching me for quite some time.

Now I know most of you will hold biased opinions because I play a BD, but hopeful to some of the more mature gamers out here I can get a decent answer. To be honest, I find it a bit pathetic that people always send PMs (especially from that guild) about my BD and my title and whatever. I don't go around and sending abuse to all the RR10s, I just get on with it.

What confuses me is that I can't understand why people feel the need to PM me. I just find it bizarre that people care so much that I have a Bonedancer and title, that is when you know people are bitter. Not necesserily jelous, just bitter in some sort of way.



I can't be arsed editing it perfectly, and I've hidden the guys name.

Because of this, I'd just like to say that I don't care what other people think of my Bonedancer or my title. I pay my subs, I see it as an achievent, disregarding my opinion is stupid, because getting a title can never be defined as an achievement or not. It is different for different people. So, everyone who wishes to flame me now, in two days or however long into the future, just remember that whatever you say, you can never be right, because it's my opinion that counts regarding my own character and my own achievements.

been playing the "darkside" now for a few days now playing a RM called Qrowz and have even grouped with you and Aleven

Have to say i have changed attitude against you as a player (i still dont like BD's when playing as enemy) but have seen the "person" behind the BD a bit closer now and damn it looks like it's really a human being there

Happened to me on a smaller scale a while back. Had some dickless wonder log out of his acc, create a new char on my realm called clapatzerger so he could PM me abuse about my BG char. Some people will go to great lengths to show they nothing short of being a wanker.

i'm pretty new to Daoc as a whole and my second toon rolled was a Bonedancer, not knowing much about any of the classes. ATM he resides in thid and i have great fun running him in thid so i dont think il be moving him for a while. I completely agree with you that its you that pays your subscription and the main point of any game is to have fun. I mean, it isnt as if a Bonedancer is Impossible to take down, considering how many times i have been mown down by ze zerg ! ! Just take solice in the fact that whoever that person is, he obviously has no life outside daoc, is probably some skinny geek that has no woman (and never will) and obviously seems to think that this blatant abuse is going to bother you.
As previously stated, report em if you feel strongly about it, otherwise continue having fun with your Bonedancer just as im going to !!!

Philosophically you need to respect the fact that everyone else's opinion is equally as valid as your own, otherwise how can you ever expect anyone else to respect your opinion, quid pro quo?

That being said, harassment in any form is unforgivable, no-one has the right to subject another player to unwanted attention on a regular basis, but nothing in the quotes will get anything done from GOA as there is nothing overly derogatory in there (has to be said, you gave as good as you got ).

Your best bet is to just add them to your ignore list, if they start making new characters and exhaust your ignore list then you will have something concrete to take to right-now as proof along with ss's of pm's if you feel you need to go down this route.

As to why they do this without provocation, god-only knows. Probably some personal insecurity or inferiority complex that urges them to put down others to make themselves feel better.

That guild isn't stalking you. Twice youve had contact with people from it. Its only 3 people playing in it. I know, because I had a laugh yesterday while you were yelling something about people camping APK, I laughed, you started PMing me, ending up with your standard reply, we are all bitter and jealous... Thats the first time you even talked to me or a guildie apart from you asking for buffs...

And this second time, well, I guess he wanted to have some fun, looking at the comments, Im sure he did So far for "It's a guild whom have been following me for quite some time", thats just a load of bullshit

Also, seems you are initiating the PMs? Perhaps just shrug it off next time, instead of looking for a discussion. But something tells me you enjoy the attention

Well mate, judging by peoples replies I think your in the wrong. Your guild has been making remarks like 'lol bane of alb bd how many people have you pwned today?'. At APK I said to the mids 'guys, you know you'll make the albs log if you camp? Just a suggestion'. You insulted me, so I PMed you asking why, you insult me again.

I feel people like you aren't worth it. If your guild is going to consistently stalk me and make remarks I'll just ignore you all together, depriving the attention you yourself crave.

If I am making him so happy that I 'whine' about it then fine. I think he should be happy that alot of people agree with me that he was being out of order.

Not being harsh here mate but that is where you are wrong I can listen to others opinions about how I view my achievements but in the end of the day if something is an achievement for me then no opinion can deny that. Cant comment on the actual events and always weary of SS's and posts on FH rather than right now, points at possably not showing the whole picture something which right now would check logs of hence why you posted it here rather than rightnow (not saying thats how it is, just how it looks).

Also I dont know you from adam but from posts I've seen you come across as a bit of a twat online (notice the online part, no I dont know you irl) possably why you get "unwanted" attention from people.

Meh, that was pretty innocent. While slightly annoying, I wouldn't consider it abuse and I'm fairly sure RN will do little about it. However, considering the constant remarks you get on this subject on this forum, I can imagine it to be rather frustrating. I guess /ignore is your best option .

You wont get more than 1 or 2 emotes, simply because there are no more. But you ofcourse "formatted your computer" or "dont have time for it" (while you do have time to play thid several hours a day) etc etc. Stop making things up.

Its jealous (normally wouldnt point it out but since you use the word so frequently you should spell it correct), and I know you are, you dont have to tell me.

But its nice to hear that you care about your titles, very cute.
