with a bit of training you can abuse lag and land lvl 50 LW style, hence less need for slam... id go
50 lw
50 parry
rest sheild for engage vs archers

Lets say u have 28+15 parry and moparry 3 ... Parry is calculated in all melee classes before block ... except stealthers where this is replaced by evade

The above spec will parry 80-90% as much as having 50+15 parry ... just my 2 cents

Calculating parry over block sucks imo, as i went high shield for the blunt blockchain and not for the slam, but i parry all the freaking time

unless u play warrior or champ.. no point in shield.. waste of time.. u wanna kill not hold em off, twat the bastards before they do you.
