Rigante Dragon Raid

Just had to post this little story here.

Wednesday 1st October, just under 40 rigante members mustered at Cornwall to go take on the dragon, having some players who have been on the famous 3fg raids, I thought it would be an idea for our guild as a whole to get some quality time with the beast.

1st attempt was a good learning experience, some managed to run from the Glares, some didnt, some were too scared and insisted on staying out of melee range to cast spells (opps) and someone forgot to bark the orders as the 90% pbaoe ripped through the group - a great learning curve and thanks to all that came, we got him down to about 80%

2nd attempt we all mustered at cornwall again, and ventured into dartmoor to be met my a patrolling dragon and AOE'd to death within 5 minutes of starting - im still wiping back the tears of laughter.

Was funny, I saw the dragon flying down the valley and thought, if i stand still maybe he might not see me one ae and 2500 dmg later, i realised my plan was flawed.

Just to reminder guild members, we're planning to try this again next Thursday night the 16th i think, hopefully well knock more than 20% hp off the bugger this time, practice makes perfect

well my guess is they where heading for the lair and was in a "stick-train" when dragon popped by.... not much you can do really

Yes this was the 2nd attempt, we got about 5 steps into DM when a guild member yelled 'hold up' due to lost speed or lag or something, so we all stopped only to be met by the patrolling dragon and AOE'd to hell.

Very funny
