remember this bloke? he tried to blow up a boeing but got "subdued" by the passengers and flight crew.

he's getting put away for a rather long time now. I doubt we'll be hearing from him again, but on the downside there's another marter for the unwashed masses.

Well attempted murder of 250+ people. I would like to consider that deserving of a life sentence.

If someone came into this country and tried to commit a terrorist act but failed, I'd want him put away for life.

I wasn't refering to that... I think he does deserve to be put away for life... it just pisses me off when America get all holyer than thou on the rest of the world

I like the idea of an international prison island.

Once it's set up, the prisoners have to be self sufficient or die. All the time they sit in our prisons they're costing us money.

We should put them all on the ISLE OF WIGHT then surround it with mines, either that or just start sending them to austrailia again ;)

that island is boring, i went there once on a RN ship and we all got shore leave, it was 60 mins drive to the nearest fish and chip shop.

What would actually happen is, Tony would personally welcome him at the airport and drive him to the benefits office where they would give him the keys to his new council house (re-wired, redecorated etc) and give him £300 a week spending money.

This is actually a reality (although not used anymore)

There is an island off the coast of tasmania that was used as an international prison island for the really really bad bastards.

Although in the end it was usually decent people with differing opinions that were sent there.
