I was gonna go untill i saw the ticket prices. Like 40-50 quid or smthing, plus another 30 i'd have to spend on transport, more on other crap. Seems like a lot to see a band that i've seen once before.
Anyway They're fantastic live, saw them last year at the London Arena, it's quite a show.
Am I the only one here who doesn't see the point of huge gigs such as what the RedHotChilliPeppers are playing? Paying over 20 quid, to get a sound ravaged by shit acoustics, not actually seeing the band due to the distance from the stage, and no atmosphere...
Whilst I'd agree with you on the sound and distance thing, you do get an atmosphere at larger gigs simply due to the sheer number of people there. Much like festivals large, and especially open air gigs are a pretty unique experience.
