I am not 100% sure, but as far as I know the higher rezzes only take longer to cast and do not cost any more mana than the lower ones (sometimes you just dont have time for the better rezzes though). In my experience the mana cost of a rezz spell is based purely on the amount of hit points of the target, so rezzing e.g. a NS happens always at a lot lower mana cost than rezzing a hero.

After 36 levels of rezzing I have come to some conclusions.

1) What con the target is affects mana usage. Purples cost...well lots, whereas I can rez a full group of greys and still have mana left (depends how grey they are). Thank god I don't have to rez purples or reds any more

2) Starting hitpoints also affects mana cost. Mages/rogues are releativley cheap, but a tank is more expensive.

3) I think it takes so much mana for so many hit points of the target, then multiplied by some weird number determined by their con.

e.g. (and this is just a guess ) a tank with 1200 hitpoints @ 1mana/20points. That costs 60 mana. So for a yellow con would be about 1/3 of your mana. multiply it by maybe 1.25 for orange con, 1.5 for red con and 1.75 for purple con. The reverse would work for blue/green/grey (0.75/0.5/0.25)

You can see that it would take a LOT more to rez a purple con, even if you had enough mana I know these are just a guess for the numbers but it helped me to understand mana costs for rezzing a bit better

Rogues/mages would cost less to rez, so instead of 20hits per point of mana, you would get maybe 25 or 30. Also, don't forget that rogues/mages have inherantly less hitpoints than tanks, so will cost less even using the same formula as tanks.

P.S. The different rez spells cost exactly the same mana. the ONLY difference is casting time.
P.P.S. If you only have time for a ghetto rez, or a ghetto rez is all you can do, PLEASE spare a heal for the newly rezzed person. can you say 'rez-kill'?

Would say that most posting on here are great though and rez if they see you in rvr eating dirt.

Just wish some would do the same at times.
