Seems like good news for Alzheimer's disease. My grandfather suffered from this and it was so tough to watch such a powerful man (traditional blacksmith for over 45 years) be reduced to such a mess.

I always remeber wishing that there was some medication that could have been given to him to help him fight this disease.

Reversal Of Alzheimer's Symptoms Within Minutes In Human Study

Reports a bit technical at times but the main point is that it is possible to maybe deal with it finally.

My grandfather had to go through some tests for it a few years ago. He's got a very mild form of it, but it can and will progress given time.

If this works long term, he'll be able to spend more time with his great grandkids (My brothers kids) without having to remember who they are.

I have more hope for the first method to work as the helmet method does sound a bit too science fiction to be honest.
