Retrying......Retrying.....Retrying......

Hi,
My second account was closed last week because the CC I had set up expired. I logged on to the subs screen and put in the new CC details. I was emailed to say my account has been re-opened.
The problem I have is that since then, I can't run 2 sessions on my machine. I've tried a full re-install, but the second account I install can't seem to connect. I enter my game password and it opens the NF loading screen. I get the connnecting to 193.XXX.XXX.XXX message, but instead of the 'Connected' message I get 'Retrying.....Retrying.....Retrying...Connection Failed, hit ESC to exit'
Does anyone have any idea what I can do, or has anyone esle experienced this?
Any thoughts or ideas greatfully recieved,

Retrying means it's trying to connect but not receiving any respone. Are you running any Firewalls that could be blocking your second account?

I'm running Norton, but I haven't tried disabling it because one account worked fine, was only the second that had problems. I will try tonight and let you know. Thanks for posting

Don't diable it completely, just make sure it allows your second account access to the net. The file that needs access is the game.dll from your install directory. Hope this helps.

Just a random thought, but in the file that you change to let the game connect to gorre, could it be that, (perhaps when you connected to gorre?) the IP got changed? which might make daoc try to dial in to some random IP rather than the server IP?

i had this same prob using norton to, when u log in wih 2nd acc do a ALT+TAB in loading screen on first retrying, and a box will come up say if u want to block it, but put let go through or what ever and put always use ure action, should work, hope this helps
