Hey all
I just bought a sega mega drive, haven't had one since I originally owned one when they first came out(I looked it up, apparently was christmas 1989, so over 15 years ago!), and I was about 5-6 at the time. I've spent the last hour or so completing sonic 3, and messing around with sonic spinball, hopefully I'll be adding sonic and knuckles to my fledgling collection in the next few days, and maybe if I can find it sonic CD
I've always been a fan of the sonic games, Im rather sonic obsessed nowadays, but the newer games (imo) dont seem to compare to the original four/five games, sonic 3/sonic and knuckles being my favorites
I just love the games for some reason, can play them for hours on end without getting bored at all.
I was wondering, does anyone else here own any of thier favorite retro machines (not just consoles) from thier youth? the mega drive was the second console I ever owned, the NES was the first, but for me it lacked the 'flash' and 'cool' feel the megadrive had and in some ways still has. I also owned a BBC basic before the NES came out, but at the time I was so young that frogger and chucky egg were the only games I was capable of comprehending
