Im not shure when i will arrange it but im hoping that atleast 400 people will participate and make it a really fun event i need to gather more prices do before so almost all in midgard will participate

So the ones that wins this event gets a respec stone? Rather than letting them be sold withing alliance to pay for upgrading and repairs of relic doors and such? (dunno how rich the alliance is, but money for the relics are always needed) or letting ppl who needs respec lotto for it (was taken from lotto for alliance to be sold? If so, sell em and put money in alliance fund i say) Tho ofc theres always some idiot who cries and say he really needs it, gets it and comes here to sell it the next thing he does.

I like the idea of a huge event. Ill be there. But having those stones (that have caused nothing more than trouble and fights so far) as reward isnt a good idea imo. Sell them in alliance and put the money u get for them up as reward instead- then we have atleast tried to make sure that the ones that needs respec has got a chance to get one. Sure, some needy might get it, but it might just as well end up in the hands on someone whos already happy about his spec. Or even one that got a respec stone from dragon raid?

Im not here bitching about this because i want one of those stones. im perfectly happy about my chars specs. Im bitching about it because there are ppl having chars at high lvls, which they arent happy with and therefore not using. While ppl sell them just to afford stuff that might do slightly more damage with or for sets and weaps for alts etc etc. (which they prolly dont need anyways)

Sounds like another Midstock, http://board.arkains.org hopefully one coming again soon if enthusiasm builds a lil more, someone mentioned the 11th May, we''ll see eh.

Proceeds from the last Midstock (a cool 28P raised) went to the relic funds, via myself, Vrek, Ruathian and Poon (fund holders) amongst all the others who helped on the day (organising and spending dosh), money well spent, as it benefits the realm as a whole.

I do understand what you're saying, but I disagree.

Having a prize such as this for an event would surely mean that a LOT of people will take part. The more peopl ethat take part, the more money is raised. If these two stones were sold, we would get, what, 5p, 7p?

Take a look at the last Midstock funds. 28P raised. I'm all for Thg keeping the stones for a second event, so that we can raise this kind of money again.

Also, a lot of the people that really need a respec stone can't afford it. I know I need one, RA especially, but career would be good too! But after funding my tailor up to legendary, and also my Spellcrafter up to high levels (not legendary yet so go away and don't ask!) there is no way I could afford a stone at the current sale vales.

So I'll be taking part in the event and paying my entry fee, for the chance of winning one. Although I'd probably take part anyway because I'm good like that.

One thing, 400 ppl for this event, how about repeatably killing the dragon and everything in TG for as many stones as we can farm? Much better idea, solves everyones probs then.

Sure, if it takes a little money from each player which ends up in alliance fund thats great. Quick repairs and upgrades keeps the reilcs safe in place Still think the STONES arent the best reward tbh. If we are gonna kill dragon/in TG for drops that will be used as reward in this ultimate massive uber mega giant event ill gladly help out.

These stones is not going to be used to get more money to alliance these stones is going to be used for a fun event i hope most people will think. I see this event more like a spirit strengthening of midgard i did enjoy the midstock but this wount have anything with it and for those that think i could have used the respec stones and the 10 tg drops that will go to winners better will have to make there own event. And gather drops them self i have done lots of raids for alliance fund and will do more but this time i have something i would rather use it for and you can say what ever you like because i cant be changed.

My first dragon hunt i took away 4 stones for alliance fund it still possible to bid on those.

And i will arrange more dragon hunts midgards dragon is easy with 12 fg so more stones will be possible to get so join a dragon raid.

And the cool thing with this event you dont need to belong to a guild or an alliance or be lvl 50 any midgarder can join this event i will post here when the time for the event and what it is about on a later date.
