I respecced from 48 Fire to 50 Fire.....
..the First bolt I fired I hit killed a mage for 1100 HPs
..then at DC shot 3 bolts & got 3 k RPS PP

from 26 reju, 37 enhance and 29 smite to:
41reju, 35 enhance 3 smite (would have done the same thing even if smite wasn't nerfed)

oh and why...

41 reju for 2nd best minor heal (fast and heals alot)
Love the 41 reju since the healrange was increased to 2000.

35 reju for 2nd best str/con, imo its not worth getting it up to 46 just to get the last one.

3 smite for my 9 sec pbaoe 200 radius inst-mess

The fun thing here is mythic nerfed this 'uber' mess cuz it was used to often as primary CC in both pve and RvR (Really?) They really couldn't nerf the duration since its 'kinda' low already (30 sec @ 50smite, 25sec @ 34smite) neither the radius (200) So they only had 1 choice put it on a 5min timer. But it really doesn't bother me, only make me laugh

Please please listen any Bards out there this is the only Respec to ( well maybe a 17 RG for GH or zero RG for normal Rez and more wep spec ) go any other and you gimp not only yourself but your Realm...
Speed and mezz still are awesome do not be fooled into the Battle Bard Spec Feldegast has posted the ONLY respec for a Bard imo if you want to be a fighting Naturalist role a warden..

PS if anyone and i mean anyone tells me that this is not right they are so full of shit they should delete ( even if its there choice of Spec )

I left my eld as he is, 46V 27L rest mana. If this is a gimp spec then tell that to all the people i've killed. kthx.

I did use respec on my bard tho. I was already going for 47M 43N but had put 7 in blunt at low lvl so couldn't get 16 reg.
But i've fixed it, now on track for a 47M 43N 16R spec..... just have to get round to levelling him.

On my hero:

50 CS, 42 shield, 6 blade rest in parry, wanted a spec for being able to kill.

On my blademaster:

50 pierce, 44 CD, 36 parry, shield 7, been playing characters with blades for so long I was looking forward to trying something else, hate plate but I love the moves and it hasn't stopped me killing so far

Tweaked my other chars a bit, my warden has 16 regrowth now and more in blades, considering mana for my mentalist but I'm concerned that for xp it won't make the grade. Probably go mana anyway since I love dots!

Wizard: 50F 15I 12E (or something) respecced to 50F 18E 9C cos its generally seen as the "perfect" firewizzy spec nowadays (perfect for fire, and gives GTAOE + PBAOE for anti-stealther gigs)
Cabalist: some gimpy body/matter/spirit combination, to 3 spirit, rest matter, because matter cabbies PPPWWWNNN!!!

left sorc and merc as they are cos their specs are perfect as-is

From RC spec to 50+12 Darkness, 19+XX supp, 7+X RC, the 50 AOE is the roxxor ... not as much resists to cold as I thought, did a great amount of damage with both the fast ass nukes and the lvl 50 AOE nuke, very satisfied. Bolts can be so annoying in rvr omg... 50 dark 4 ever ;P

My bard stays as he is..

I intensionally semi-gimped my BM. 42 shiled, 44 CD, 45 Blunt and 10 parry.

I did this becaus i like much more to rvr with my bard, so i wanted my bm for RVE, becaus it sux xping as a bard


The best spec for bm's are: 50 blunt, 44 cd, 7 shiled and rest in parry.

You get a 9 sec stun style from blunt lvl 50 style.. Which is a chain you use after parry, so its good to have parry high

respec'd to 27 earth "pbt + insta debuff" / 10 ice "ae root" / 45 air "best nuke"

befotre that i had less dmge output due to having more pbt . but i wanted a more offensive spec so respec'd for best nuke and also got the speed debuff for IF i come 1v1 anybody and they got slow ass 2 hander so hopefully i could nuke them inbetween swings.

went from void to mana, nice to nuke people without doing (-200) damage for a change, the snare is pretty neat aswell.

myself I respecced my 20 ice secondary into 12 points of fire and 4 more points of earth (yes I was earth wiz before)

Oh and Fingoniel dropped his 7 shield - I never bother with engage (watch me curse archers in the future )

my little sorceror respecced from body/mind to full matter
my little cabalist respecced from wacky to full matter (might go back to body at 40 just to be different, I'm matter because I duo with a friar )

hrm I have 3 dot casters now ... oh well hope I don't get bored

I think people should spec any way they feel, sure your realm is important, but if you no longer having fun because of your spec, then you will be lost to realm when you leave.

Personally I am using the normal bard spec, but I respecced my void eld to mana, just so I could try something new. I quite like the new spec, just still a bit confused It ain't easy when you're beautiful...

I used my respec to respec my spirit line (useless in rvr) to matter, so now I have an aoe dot and the beloved nearsight
But I`m still a body cabie, as I tend to group with calot who is a matter cabie, the aoe desease, aoe dot and nearsight combo is just plain evil
