lol fu nova - well actually i was thinking about respeccing to light - after 1.62 patch notes came out i have changed my mind and will stay either void or go mana. 2.6s dd is not bad really and we will see how bolts will do in RvR...

Alot of ppl tend to be surpised how handy void eldies can be especially with our gtae or energy debuffs for pbaoe casters at lower levels. This latest patch just brings us back into the mainstream a bit more like we were back at DAOC release.

But good, bad or indifferent its all about the fun and i wouldnt give up my void eldie for anything.

Yeah the bolt fixes are all well and good but lets not forget that the void spec dd sucks badly compared to the baseline dd. This is a serious anomally which 1.62 doesnt address imho.

If in doubt about what to spec in I advise going void to lvl20 so u can have bolt fun in bg0 then respec to mana for group xp till lvl40 then decide whether to stick with mana or respec to void or light.

Imo though if u want mana go chanter and if you want light go mentalist. I can see the advantages of mana eld though so dont flame me plz
