respec stones

IMO these respec stones have caused nothing but trouble ..the last few days have seen full blown arguments between good friends people willing to sell their souls for these things

ffs mythic you idiots what are you doing?! this is meant to be a game for enjoyment give us a quest that gives resepc at the end make it an epic quest i don`t care but this system sucks the cock of satan

i`m sorry to say it but dragon hunts are NOT fun

spend an hour getting ready spend 45 getting to and killing it then spend 3 hours arguing about the bloody drops

I think the stress is a short-term thing.

Respec stones are so highly sought after that these dragon raids are going to be come a very regular affair and the numbers attending will drop to more reasonable levels.

Give it a few weeks and there'll be tri-weekly raids of 80-100 people, respec stones will flow freely through the economy (sic) and the arguments will die down as the relative value of both the stones and the dragon loot decreases due to increased supply.

1.61 you can get them off summoners and in sidi.

1.64 -> Mythic gives up and even the Brownies drop respec stones.
1.65-> People whine about mobs dropping only respec stones (which are now worthless) and not enought loot. ->Devs have enough of the whine and remove the whole respec idea. Now anybody saying the word "respec" in game in any channel, gets attacked by the realms dragon within 30 seconds.

You can like farm them in 1.61 with very low numbers, say 5 for Sidi and 7 for hib summoner and GS or something Oo

Bounty Points are a much better idea for respec stones, say 1000 for a single line one and 5000 for a full respec. I think there need to be more done with the BP for players, how about a stone that removes Rez-sickness?

I reckon the quest idea is by far the best way for getting respec stones.

A repeatable quest would allow an individual to earn the respec and not have to rely on "teh zerg" in rvr as lots of people dont like rvr....

Bulge, not everyone fancy PvE mate, i have nearly 200 /days ingame now, kinda tired of it tbh...

And note that I wrote realmrespecc, not anything else, realmrespecc is most important for RvR and thus it should be earned from.... RvR.

Your problem sounds like a Guild problem Case. The hunt last nite, no one argued about the drop distro... If the stones that were allocated to your guild were argued over, i think you need to explain to your guild the need over greed factor and let those who need them the worst (either because they messed up their spec, or their spec got changed by mythic with no free respec) get them first... If we farm the dragon enough, there will be enough to go around for those who show up and participate.

oooh how I hate quests tho.. just the thought of it makes me shiver. I will never ever forget the epics armsmen do, goddamn... was doin a silly step and it took me 4 hours or something like that, and over 2 hours was spent sitting on a stupid horse. I dont exactly call that fun, but I guess some people like quests

I think I read somewhere on herald that Mythic was looking at alternative ways of respeccing so I assume it will come in the future someday.

You obviously have no idea how vehemently people will disagree over what spec is actually gimped and therefore deserving of a respec. Also before you make judgements on our guild re-read Case's original post... friends arguing over respec stones, not guildies

Quests aren't soo bad. In this case I'd rather spend 4 hours on a horse than 3 hours doing the dragon, then probably only rolling a 1 in the lotto (knowing my luck) ....

Lets hope Mythic do something though.....

I am looking forward to more dragon hunts. Right now we have more people needing/wanting stones than those that are out there. Even in my guild we have this problem and because of this we haven't handed them out. (it is getting sorted, thankfully)


But just think about all the highly sought after items in real life and in this game. Give it time and there will be enough.

Just be patient and try to participate/organize as many dragon raids as possible.

This is just a game, please try to remember that.

Yes. 25 of each I think (skill/ra). RA respecstones will be farmable in Summoners Hall in 1.61
