Resistcaps?

plain and simple...
do there exist any hardcoded resistcaps in daoc?

For items its - LVL/2 + 1
so at lvl 50 you can have max of 26% resist from items
This stacks with any base resist you may have due to class or RA

Will also stack with resists from buffs but not sure of caps on buffs

You are right Azimov

Resistcap = :

Base + 26% (itemcap) +24% (buff) + ra's.

For example my spiritcap =:

base 5% + 26% (items) +24% (buff) +7% (Avoidance of Magic II and Mastery of Arcane II) = 62%

Well, seems like it is most hibs that got great spirit resists, so aint gonna bother with you hibs, hehe

Well you dont have 4s casting time and interupted all the time?
You would beat me anytime cause of those resists and you bubble

At 47 I barley managed to beat jerioth (then lvl 45 or summat) and I dont think he had bubble on (or by any chance maybe a slower bubble)

But I like my job as a healer, do you like yours as bubble boy? (j/k)

sadly its possible to have over 100% resists:
items, buffs, RA (aviod magic), and the chanter RA 30% to all dmg

Well just for 30s every 30 minutes, so can say I care much about that

base + 26% items + 24%? buffs/RAs or is it more?
