Could we have some spoiler things like [/spoiler]
(Are they called tag's?)

Idealy it would produde a [ quote ] style box filled in with black, and with text written in black, so when highlighted the text turns white and you can read the spoiler.

Is it that complicated? :D

Yes!
However something like that wouldn't work as well on non-BW color schemes.

It would bring up like a kind of quote box, and the text inside would be blacked out, visible only by highlighting (dragging the mouse cursor over the box).

This must be activated btw, for the sake of the Films/DVD forum.

From my (somewhat scant) knowledge of vBulletin and CSS, it shouldn't be horrendously difficult.

Yer! And give numerous beatings to those whore refuse to use 'em :)

Edit - Well, would you look at that. Sticking text with the colour darkgreen inside a quote makes it invisible. Wow.

At least until Deebs decides to change the stylesheet... it works, but it's not the most elegant solution

Yep we gotta remember that not everyone uses the old skool green on green colour scheme here.

At Your Service

Hello

If this idea does get the nod from the top, so to speak, I'd be happy to help code it. Following the vB code changes I was asked to do for BarrysWorld earlier this year, it shouldn't be too difficult to achieve.

Perhaps the easiest solution would be to have tags create a quoted box, but to have only the word 'Spoiler' visible and an arrow. Clicking the arrow would reveal the spoiler, thus meaning a user doesn't have to avert their eyes if they don't want to read the spoiler.

But I'm happy to go with whatever if you want my help :)

Kind Regards

We'll get Bodhi or someone similar to create a perfectly fair 'niceness test' to see which DAoCers can stay.

Anyone with a sig under 3 lines can stay. All the others should be moved, since they make my New Posts button redundant.
