I have somethings important to ask and request..
Well, I wanna know these programming languages such as Perl, Php, etc..
Well, please tell me the basic idea and is MySql and Php related and is Microsoft Sql can be used in the net 4 database management..

just started trying to learn Perl myself, but don't have the time to work on more than one site I'm afraid (exams in a few months).

PHP and Perl are both broadly classified as "CGI scripts" - but Barrysworld Hosting only supports PHP. Shame really Though it is rather good they say.

IF you already program something and can program HTML competently then I'd recommend getting a more "reference" type book which gives a little explaination for PHP/Perls major unique functions, but cuts to the chase with common functions so you can sit down and program. I program Delphi and found the "Visual: Perl Blueprint" book vey good for this situation.

If you don't already program it is a lot of hassle to move Perl between Windows and Unix servers, especially if you want to work with directories. And your better off learning some offline programming to so simple text input-output work before you try it on the web. Its easier to debug at home
