reporting abusive/illegal emails to ntl world?

today, i recieved an email. it contains a direct link to some child porn site. now its not your general spam email. its very different and looks authentic. i have not visited this site but believe me it looks real and not like general spam email. for a start, the headers show it was sent to me and not some mass list. it even has some name for my email address on there "Net Scadtau".
how do i report this because the abuse form on ntls site is only for IPs on ntls network.

The chances are you and a million other people were all put in the BCC field when the e-mail was sent. So it would only appear like you were sent the e-mail.

As for reporting it, I would imagine phoning up NTL would be a start to see if you can get that address blocked.

though it depends if the email headers have enough info in there to trace the mail.

that form will only accept the source if its a ntl ip

doh - helps if I actually read through the page. I'm sure there was a way to report stuff somewhere - very least an email address.

I wouldn't believe any information from the e-mail header...spoofed IPs and all that crap. The header could have been picked up from anywhere...especially if it was relayed through a zombie. I'd report it to the police in writing (real mail) and cc it to NTL - that should get some results.

I'd also complain to your ISP and insist on a new free e-mail account. Once the spammers get into your nickers, the crap just keeps coming.
