Opened my old US DAoC account again a few dayes ago to test out the PvP server a bit.
It's very fun actually, I started a highlander minstrel, and started in one of the towns in albion. Suddenly I see a big trol running passt fast as hell, And I though: LOOOL!
So I hunted some lowbie stash around there to get some lvls a little bit cash. Then I found my way to Camelot after a while looking around in that big city like a n00b. Found the minstrel trainer and was happy 
Suddenly I got a tell from someone to help start a guild and I would get a gold piece. Ofcourse I did that and I even got too gold. Very nice lady. Now I had cash to get some armor and a deacent weapon. And I thought....hmm where am i supposed to hunt now, so I figured I'll go to hibernia to hunt some waterbeetles. After a while someome helped me finding the way to the teleporter. It is by the vault dude in Camelot, you just buy a medalion to Tnn for 10s and click on the wizard beside and pooof you're in tnn...ahh finnaly
There I saw lotsa trolls, dwarfs, firbolgs, britons etc. And it was very confusing with all those trolls running around in tnn, but I got used to it after a little while. I got my way to ardee and binded there. Then I saw a red enchanter going around picking at someone all the time killing him over and over again. I felt sorry for him, turned my safety flag off (from lvl 1-10 you have a safety flagg witch means you cannot be attacked or attack other players, and if you turn it off it can't be turned on again) didn't know I couldn't turn it on again, and killed the stupid enchanter, then I sent him a tell that I'm sorry
Off to hunt some waterbeetles then. Got into a team with a lvl 7 bladesmaster and a mentalist. We did good and after a few lvls, suddenly a gray underhill friend started to hit me while I was hitting a waterbeetle. With some nice healing from the mentalist we manage to kill the underhill and I found out where the enchanter was, so I ran after him shouted out my million instas (hehe) and got him after a little chase. When you kill someone there you get xp equal to a mob at same con, and you allso get a loot bag with same amount as the con points cost, and a RP.
A while later I got a underhill on me again, and this time the enchanter blasted me from somewhere too, and I died. It was the same dude grrr. He sent me a tell with "sorry just had to". And then we teamed up instead of fighting haha.
Now little Yattayattayatta got a bit thoughter and found a kobold hunter to team with. He charmed a waterbeetle and I charmed a feary. (w00t, didn't know minstrels could charm too, they can everything) We hunted a while and then we found us a full group and off to hunt some ghostly siabras. We didn't have any good tank so it was lotsa downtime and not so good. Then a lvl 10 troll berserker went passt and asked to join. We saied hell yeh, and then we got a big strong tank, even if he's dam big and ugly, he did good tank job.
Suddenly in our hunt a dwarf mage went passt as he one hit killed me with his staff So I had to travel back again. He also ganked some other grays around there. One in our group called his high lvl bard mate, and chased the mage away. Got some good xp after that.
Back to Albion to train again, sigh, (if you die and type /release city you get to you're homeland city no matter bind point, very handy if you got low cash to pay the 10s for porting.) So I went on a suicide mission to DL to check how fontiers and souch are there. I opened the first door and was about to go in when I was hit for 666 damage from somewhere. Outch where the hell was that from I thought. Ah well back to Camelot to train at least. Asked a high lvl outside camelot to kill me so I can get back to ardee and he did it with pleasure hehe.
When I got to ardee I saw some awsome big fighting. Seems like big guild fight or something. With dwarfs and elfs fighting side buy side against some other guild with different realms peeps in. Goosh, I wanna lvl higher now thought. Yattayattayatta is lvl 10 and now you know his little story from first time PvP server.

American people is way different from europe btw, met many stupid people and some nice once. AT least money begging is WAY out of question there. Like euro better
