Well my sb was 5specs before 1.62, with the LA getting nerfed i though i would increase the dmg to negate the nerf..

So now i have a sb with 50sword 39LA + dualist reflexes etc etc
that makes me 62sword 58LA basically with rr and all that.

I respecced my cave shaman to buffbot....weaponskill unbuffed before patch was in the 8xx, now buffed -> 1377.
So i though man this is gonna rox i will still be able to hit as hard as i was hitting for (or even harder) than before 1.62.....

Guess i was wrong :

this pic u can see my DF dmg (mind u snowblind does even less dmg) , my mainhand does the same dmg as the infil offhand!

Beeing a shadowzerk like, i can't even kill anything at all,

these 2 following pictures show the infil dmg, to me it seems to be alot higher than it used to be with DF in 1.60...

Infils are hitting in the 200ish every hit that reminds me of DF'dmg that everyone was whining about...

BUT YE LA IS FIXED INDEED, Mythic just screwed it up its not a small nerf its more than 50% dmg nerf!

I haven't been talkin about killing tanks,hybrids but only assassins atm, having a high weaponskill the only thing i have atm is infils have less chances to get an evade....
But even with that infils do more dmg than SB's..

Heh let's hope they nerf infs with the style changes i am one for hoping they do and i am an alb.Can't see any styles keeping a 9 sec stun after they look at styles.

Also berzerk that's pretty lame nerf for sbs i agree,sbs weren't overpowered before 1.62,gimps just die to them and whined all day.Zerks needed a slight nerf on ratmode not so much the la and the low qui made up for big hits too.If my merc hit cap damage on someone with a 99% crit ratmode it can be 1320 total damage if it was a full 99% crit.

Oh well,have you tested it often in duels vs buffed sbs?

If your sword is doing twice as much dam as your axe, why not use Sword styles? And NOT Polar Rift.

Ye i agree, iam in the few sb's out there to have solo'ed to 42 then malmo the usual way to 50, so i spent ALOT of time xp;ing that char and ppl come here and say cry more dont play sb etc wtf?

Errr that aint Polar Rift..thats Ragnarok.
And the dmg u see on the screen is done by sword spec and LA spec as iam using LA styles.

I'm not sure you understood what I'm saying. You say you are using LA styles, and you are, why not TRY using sword styles? Maybe you will hit for more?

soloed my SB to 48, went malmo for 1.8 levels, soloed 95% of my realm points too (only RR4L4 atm) and I for one NEVER saw these insane LA damage that got us nerfed (i was buffed most of the time too) so yer, grats to all the whining infs who ruined a once good class.

hope you have fun with all the Savages that are being rolled by ex SB and ex Zerker players.

ummm, i tried using my Axe styles, i can say, i do less damage with axe styles....

my SS cap atm is 366 now..

tried my havoc cap, 289...

so in effect my zerk is effectively doing the same fucking damage i did at lvl 30..

Sorry i took it like you though i had Polar Rift on my QB while it was Ragnarok nevermind will do some more tests with sword styles but then my LA spec worth nothing and i have no evade on the sword line ;| But as Sharma says i think the weapon line sucks more

I tested mine breifly yesterday...SS cap was 345. That's pretty poor for 58 Leftaxe and Duelist Reflexes 3 :/

tbh I would eitehr go all out LA or keep it low, either you spec LA and use the styles or keep it low and use mainweap + CS styles.

There is no viable inbetween, 26-38 LA spec is basically unviable, arguably anything above 25 and below 44 is just a bad spec.

Well actually i screwed a bit while respeccing but its not affecting my dmg its increasing it a bit in theory so atm iam 50sword and 41LA baseline, so its quiet high LA spec and still look the dmg i do....

Berz imo a SB cannot viable dual wield and get 50 base weapon, you end up totally ignoring CS and gimping Envenom.

I think the clasic SZ is prolly still viable, but the lack of versatility and frontload is simply not balanced by the lacklustre LA performance.

Erm my point all along was mercfils are overpowered and not what I see assassins as being. I never said they were worse or better than SZs. My point all along is that both SZs (as they used to be) and mercfils are BOTH overpowered. So please I'm neither ignorant or foolish. Surely you should appreciate an alb asking for class balance?

Erm I never said all infs were tanks. I said it was possible to spec like a stealthing "tank" like mercfils. These guys don't spec high CS as an assassin should and just pop from stealth and kill without the PA chain. So it's "like" a stealthing fighting class, which I called tank. Ok it's an abuse of terminology, but don't put words in my mouth.

Never fought a mercfil. I just have the opinion that mercfils are in the same boat as SZers, overpowered and not playing in the true assassin way. Yes I do. It's the second in a chain, right? Tell me a class that evades 50% of the time without a buffbot? My inf never evades SBs 50% of the time, and I have felt their stuns often.

EDIT: thats pretty much everyone has a buffbot, not evades 50% of the time - but i would think most assasin classes with some RA's would get close to that, and pretty much all of em got a buffbot.

Oculus dmg screenie is nothing wrong with, he is prolly a 44CS+ thrust infil who did the PA/CD/SS chain on ya...


as for your 'high' weaponskill, think again , if its something sb's suffer from its thier gimped weaponskill....(debuff str only etc..).

my advice is not to go CS unless you want to wear 2 handed , the only good SB i have heard about was victer [ dunno if i wrote it right] and looks like he always used 2 handed, my opinion about 2 handed is that 2 handed sux.
I saw load of screenies about SBs using CS styles with 2 weapons , the dmg always was less than LA styles [ i mean , the same guy doing CS styles and LA styles]
Btw strengh relics arent +20% melee dmg im pretty sure , so not strange the dmg infils was doing on you berzerk

345 dmg pretty poor? ;o

my ranger has like 250 cap with 60 pierce

just so you know.. my Amethyst slash cap at rr3 on my inf was 367 with a 3.6 spd sabre ;p

respecced to Thrust now, not tried caps yet, as im still waiting to get my armour redone to get +11 thrust.

Your all so stupid, i allready i had to redo my qb on my shaman as i respecced but some icons were allready on the qb's (bugged ones as i respecced some old ones was still on the qb and thus the no more spells stayed on the qb but its wasnt the same but another one (ie brainbuff here) ) and i didnt notice i casted brain buff instead of another buff ...
