Replacement Graphics Card Advice Needed

I got a Radeon 9800 Pro with Ice-Q cooler at the beginning of the year, nice card, did the job for BF2, but it started giving occasional graphics corruption both in games and in Windows, which got worse until it was unuseable.

So I RMA'ed it back to Scan, they admitted it was faulty and have accepted it for a replacement, but stock has not been in for the last 2 weeks and I'm getting a bit p*ssed off not having my nice graphics card (back on the old GeForce 4 Ti 4400).

They can't give me a refund, but it makes no difference because I'd spend it on another graphics card as a replacement, I'd prefer a credit note.

So, the challenge is to find a replacement, you have approximately £120, include VAT but not postage.

Thanks :)

My RMA with Scan is still outstanding, it does not look like they will ever get a replacement card seeing as the original product no longer appears on their list, and I can't get money back.

I found this X800 instead for the right price and was wondering if anyone thinks it would be a suitable replacement ?

If you wanted a bit of fun and a budget option you could get a Leadtek 6800LE from OcUK for £88 and try and unlock the pipes and overclock it to give you 6800GT. Although this could possibly leave you with a lot of smoke and a new doorstop :D

NB. I haven't read the included article, blame google if it doesn't work.

Sorry to drag this up, again, but it looks like I have finally got a replacement, I saw this 6600GT come up in the "Today Only" and they've accepted it as a replacement.

Time was getting short and the number of AGP cards was fast dissappearing, so I had to fall back to nVidia, I just hope this is a worthwhile card, probably better than my 9800 Pro anyhow.

Thanks for the help.
