Repairing question...

Just wanted to know whether it matters if you let a NPC smith repair your armor/weapons or a Player Crafter ? I know with a Player Crafter it's free but I've also heard from some people, that repairing armor/weapons etc. from a Player Crafter the durability degrades half slower. Is that true?

The repairs are exactly the same, durability is lost at exactly the same rate from player repairs or from NPC smiths.

Its just free and saves finding a NPC smith if your truly lazy ;)

I think where the myth might come from, is that 99% and 100% quality items have higher durability then the 100% dur shown, so you can repair them a few times be4 it drops below the 100%, giving the illusion it hasn't lost any dur.

Whilst we are on this subject , has anyone else noticed you cant repair epic studded armor in the trade window?

I can repair epic plate and chain in trade window , but i have to "drop" repair studded and even then try several times before success.

my skill is 1110 AC and every crafted armor can be easily made.
