So, i did a really really stupid thing today (Epic failure you could say). Had some hair i wanted to get rid of in an unwanted spot. But i failed miserably, resulting in horrible pain and a great deal of wax being left and sticking together my bollock and thigh and making it generally sticky down there. How the hell do i remove wax without exposing my nether region to excessive pain?

p.s. Laugh and die.

there's probably some chemical that will safely dissolve it

phone your local beauty parlour, tell them you've ballsed up waxing your shnutz and can they recommend anything over the phone or do you need to make an appointment to see them (they'll give you the paper bag for your head). Or see your doctor. Either way its 10 on the Richter scale of embarassment.

omg ok not laughing at you, laughing with you; have to admit it is funny hehe

OK um have you tried just gently soaking it off with warm water? also with most home waxing kits there are parafin wipes that clear up the spillages/residue, did any of them come included? there should be advice on the packaging r.e. what to do in this...possibly not this actual because I doubt it happens regularly, but a similar situation.

I´ll have a looksie in the phone book and see if there is some place i can call, good idea. Just don't want to walk down there (walking is a pain), but if i have to i have to.. i guess.

Water cleared a little of it, but its still sticking together like hell. And there were no wipes that came with it either :(

I used to use Dax wax on my head hair. This was a style product (not to rip the hair out!). The stuff was extremely difficult to get out, however I did find a solution.

Rub some shampoo onto the affected area (do not use any water just yet). When you rub it around, it will start to foam and it seems to help dissolve the wax. If you then add a little water it should help wash away the wax.

This will not remove 100% of the wax, but it should help alot.

Wax is made up of long chains or carbon. These do not dissolve in water. Soap is made up of a long chain of carbon with a charged bit at one end. The charged bit dissolves in water and the long chain dissolve in wax thus allowing you to remove the wax.

You can therefore remove the wax with just soap and warm water. The water doesn't need to be hot (40C is fine). Rub on lots of soap then wash off and repeat many times, it will work in the end.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha

Sorry mate, but I just laughed like 5 minutes ^^

Reason: I saw the thread name and I thought: "Wow, I'm gonna post something stupid, like: Don't wax your balls then …

…but well, there was no need anymore =)

Sry, still laughing ^^

But from what I know of wax (used on the legs at least) it can be removed with warm water (well at least from Veet).

tbh home waxing kits suck, i tried one before i went on holiday a few years ago. It said not to shave the area for a week or so before waxing so I waxed them, nothing happened except I was left with a very hairy gooey leg Oo

Hm, the one my gf uses works fine tbh and the result is much better than with shaving. I guess it depends on the brand.

I am getting kind of used to it now, its not that uncomfortable after a while xD
But, i will try to get it off tonight. Apparently there should have been some wet tissues with the package (veet i think) but they were not there >_<. If i can't, you´ll just have to call me Fettobob Stickypants.

pouring boiling water on your balls does seem like a brilliant idea at first, but trust me, you dont want to go down that road.

that's pretty damn funny:p
if it was on clothing or soemthing I'd be able to help you.. piece of paper on top and iron over, the heat makes the paper soak up the grease completely, but I don't think this is going to work on this occasion :p

Maybe you should go to a saloon and get it sorted.. can't go around with wax on your nuts for long.
