Music Removing the vocals from a sound file such as mp3/wav

its normally a combo of removing common voice bands (and possibly tuned to the particular song if oyu're clever enough) and muting some of the data that's identical on both channels for stereo data. combining the two can be relatively effective, but it's never a decent result.

If you need the backing tracks for karaoke, then buy them direct
