Endgame of DaoC:
supposed to be RvR is to many. Maelstrom good rvr guild one of the best.

If they wanna win fight. they run the best chars.
Ppl get pwned by maelstrom. they QQ that they play only fotm chars that kill their chars over and over for arpees.

Playing savage now is not fun lacking the good RA´s
Playing Infiltrator hasnt been fun for ages never was tbh. dirty ass crap the stealther classes are anyway.
Thane ruled the daoc classic old days with ze mjollnir and stuff
became useless in mids eyes cuz zerkers did 1500000 dmg

Thane got some nice stuff in NF and are back on track

I dont blame Remi that he plays the current best class.
Albion got only crap chars but I got a mix of them all so I play whatever then again I dont get 150K rps a night run.(Work is of ze bore)

a normal pala can get without much problems 48 chants, 42shield 42slash, which is good enough since BG > guard and you wont block anyway vs 2200ish ws tanks

That's because most of the DAOC population "tries" to use the thing that's best, because that's the only way to win in this game (mostly), sadly, and it doesn't take anything to change class.

It's more something that's in the human mind than in daoc actually, just that it's easier to realize in daoc. Like, I killed 6 in a row today in HL2DM with the xbow, next thing was that the xbow was suddenly used but they failed horribly and i pwned them many times because they just can't fucking shoot with it, something like that doesn't happen in daoc, if you can play a pala you can play a merc, if the merc gets nerfed and reaver is good, you can play a reaver too, everyone can play any class and choose the best class whenever they want.

Never played HL2 so why exactly they can't shoot with it? Because the game mechanism doesn't allow it or they can but suck at it because they are crap players?
