Just because something LOOKS good, doesn't mean it is tho.
I'd play a game that looked like shite if it was uber fun to play.
Yeah the gfx have come a long way, but what about the actuall meat of the game, the play time, has it become all that much more fun?

Yep they updated the graphics engine.

Shame I just got bored of the game while they were doing that tho

Often can be heard, the murmurings of how much more fun the old beta days were in DAoC.

hmm,well,i played closed beta aswell,id love to post all the pics..only prob is: DAMN IBM ,WhY CAN"T U MAKE any qualITY HARDDISKS???that's the 3d of ures that is damaged now...
well,i think u can get it..bout 3-4k beta(closed and open) from excal/hib went down the river ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((
well,nothing do to bout it..imo closed beta looked really cool,more comic like than now
