I remember starting my first character "Akai", I was going to be a ranger.
I remember buying a stilleto.
I remember finding out Nightshades could dual-wield.
I remember when no-one seemed to know what Nightshade magic was.
I remember when I saw a evlen shade in blue leathers outside Mag-Mell.
I remember becomming a shade
I remember buying a Curved Dagger.
I remember stealthing to Emain with my lvl 10 ranger.
I remember when I had to run away from a huge skeleton on the way.
I remember when we fought RvR in the valley to the bowl, we fought back and forth, and everone got rezzed.
I remember completely failing to hit Tina, and running like hell when someone mezzed her 2 paces in front of me.
I remember the whole Hib force running away turning round and running back, when all of us lowbies could just follow the people who knew what was going on

Fucking mythic made a npc made Lora after beta so I couldn't make my druid that is why I made a Lethania.. <sigh>

Does blucia still play? I had a dagger from CM she wanted for someone but I never heard from her again, that was several months ago tho lol

Beta... remember exping with some crazy Germans, just can't remember any of their names Good old days when Daigh/Feanuith was a ranger, the lead hero dinging 20 and we ganked our first streaming wisp just outside Ardee as they finally conned red...

Going to Collory for the first time to kill irewoods and then having trouble as they baffed. Ortunga the uber bard running past and helping us by tanking the other from each pull for a while. Ganking some more irewoods later on with Green Peace Keepers, back in the days when Ceixava was still a druid. Then pookhas and so on at Basar with Zana the champion. Nerys, Ellosin the bard who didn't continue in retail, wonder who else I'm forgetting here...

Doing /who Treibh and being envious of the "big boys" playing down there. Oh, and the sickles. You just weren't anything if you didn't have one Going to TC for the first time and Meanie teaching us the pulls.

Duoing in Spraggon Den with Ceix when Yatta spawned Dramacus on us.

Yelling for Ceix to come tank people off me in rvr. Yes, people ran away from a DRUID cause he had a sickle and was over lvl 30

Finally getting lvl 30 and doing the same favours. Ressing Lofff's druid Loved over and over and over again at amg

I heard she hum.. well played someone else account now. not sure adn dont know if he is still playing.. think the main chars name is Perplexed on prydwen mid.. could always log into mid and look for someone called /who blue or somethign simla could be one of his alts

Gonna play it over summer hols tho, with a couple mates and a nice new valewalker !11! Done some reading into Daoc and its changed sooo much, lots of new stuff to try, like BGs, duels, SC and maybe ill finally see the dragon (never actually got there)

Just remembered my first trip to CM with TdD guys... Gillaien, Kineada, Tylar, Hing etc. i dont think i ever laughed so hard... Kineada running away from healers and claiming that neutral mobs jumped him.

Funniest thing that Ive seen was a group of us were trying to kill those giant trees, grovewoods(?) outside of Um.. drum cain? Eble, gaya, cuth and a couple others but I cant remember who atm (long time ago)

We ended up pulling about 7 and decided to run back to the fort, the funny bit was tho... I kept turning around and firing my bow at them when noone was looking, so as the trees started rooting people and starting to take people down they never stopped coming. Ended up with the groves actually IN druim cain (I kinda let them through the door) and ended up with Eble dying (as ever!) on the far side of cain by a grove I was laughing soooo hard.

Only eble died tho, and that stands to reason

a shame that balnor and hothnog disapeard so fast again after retail, i know that hoth rerolled a few times, but i always looked up to those two, when i was a young Ranger in beta


RvR at lvl14-20 or so with my ranger in beta was 1337 :great:
after the game went retail, i ran around with them noobs and could tell em my storys from farming Rps etc in beta and i was their hero...
god i miss those days
