A memorial service anywhere should never be interrupted. This may be a game, but Oggy has know shown us all which players in this game actually have RL morales. I am VERY disappointed in some of you people, a 30min time-out where emain stopped to salute a fellow gamer is not too much to ask.

My RL friend Lanvar plays this game and I KNOW HIM AND A FEW OTHERS KNOW HIM IN RL we are very very sad that he died ( which im glad to say that he is not
) ...SO Na Fianna the Guild that Lanvar and myself started wanted to have a Tribute to him in his memory and people like your good self start post complete and utter bollocks about how its only a game ..

This is a game, thing you play on a computer. Sure the guy that passed away played it but i dont think the whole server should stop for a memorial. Maybe only the people that knew him/her.
The memorial should be kept outside the game for those that knew him in RL and close friends ingame but not expressed within the game.
I find it distasteful i must admit.

Id like to share my views, I played with oggy a bit while leveling up and such, and he was a great guy.
BUT, having a memorial in EMAIN and then complaining that some ppl came and disturbed you? Im not saying you shouldnt have a memorial, i would have attended if i had an active account. But it takes no rocket scientist to figure out that emain is a stupid place to have it in.
Seriously, who came up with that idea? Cuz imho its REALLY stupid to have it there.
To everyone who says having a memorial whatsoever cuz "its just a game" i can only say as the others, what if someone you knew and leveled 50 levels with died?

Well if it's just a game why come here and talk about it, your not playing when you post, or is it because the game takes a portion of your rl, it's not seperate you wally, it's your spare time and hence a part of your life.

In Emain there were 10 % of the hundreds that were there that knew Oggy so that just blows your post ....

If you wouldnt have trouble you had to do it in a no fight zone.

Optical, people didn't make this memorial because the character Oggy died. It was because the person BEHIND Oggy died. Who is it that can't separate the two? You. The reason the memorial was held was because alot of people wanted to show their respect to said person, and that is much easier to do in game by their characters avatar than by doing it IRL.
This isn't a game of 24/7 ganking for everyone. People actually speak to the ones they meet in this game, get to know them. This does not have to be like a game of quake, frag and forget, and it's not that to every-fucking-one in this game. Respect that for half an hour of your life.
