What is this QQing about Alb alarm clock raids?
It is a Mid speciality, and Mids used to be proud of their alarm clock skills!
Ardarmel even used to draw pretty l33t pictures with tactics and all on them...
So I take it now Mids are proud when Albs take the relics due to an alarm clock raid?
Or do you think it is cheap and in effect are saying that you, yourself are two faced twats for the passed 2 years?

hib/mid weren't planning things together - at least it didn't seem that way. Hibs did take advantage of the mid attack, but there's no need for cross realming there.

There was a mid/hib fight over who got the alb strength relic just outside the gate apparently

Hmmm seem to remember an Alarm Clock last week 6am sunday morning, Takhylock and friends got both doors down on Beno with about 2fgm, maybe 1.5 and about 6 of us Albs managed to hold them off before we could get the front door locked up. Nothing against alarm clocks and all that, but that attempt if it was indeed an attempt, should be duly noted.

it was 1.5fg doing most the work because we got bored geting steamrolled by the zergs in emain so most the grp logged we met up with valverens to start a tower farm but noone came so moved on to bigger things
seeing as you had about 4fg at least running in emain i would hardly say we had the advantage

I wasn't on at the time of the Relic take (although I was when Mids were
first on Beno).

When I came back in the evening, I participated in many fights, and in EVERY
fight, where mids and hibs added - they definately 100% cross-realmed, they
both attacked Alb and left each other after the Albs were downed.

Do I find it distasteful? - yes,
but surprising? - no,

Just looking forward to patch/cluster (when it will be worth taking the relics
back), and stumbling on hibgard fights in future, don't qq when you get
zerged, what comes around goes around.

Tbh - it made sense that Mid would launch a RR when the biggest Alb ML
raid this year was underway - ofc they'd have feck all opposition. So enjoy
the relics for a few more days guys \o/ The action has been so scarce
recently I thought we should have given Hibs and Mids their relics back
anyway.

Was good to see so many of you out - hope you don't crawl back under your
rocks too soon

Lol come on albs stop whining, you were more than us online, you could have defended your relics, it was not a lame time and nobody knew that you were on a ML rush when the raid started so dont cry. I have been in about 3 ml raids that were cancelled because of call to arms (some months ago when we had some relics) and all the ppl in the ML bg went to defend because relics were more important that a ML that could be done later, you had the choice to defend lol it was easy you were 200 u all 200 suicide and u all 200 come in zerg but u didnt want to do it so dont blame us for that. It was a nice raid grats to all mids.

BS! lol. In fact Flimgoblin is right, we went for alb strenth relic and met some of the hib zerg there. Mids won, and then albs came from behind We fought albs and there was a milegate stand Midgard eventually lost, due to alb number increasing while mids decreasing (lack of rezz).

Since there was so many albs at the str relic, we decided to attack powerrelic instead. We succeeded in the second try (First try, we rushed in as headless chickens with probably only half of the zerg with us (other half left behind) and died horribly)

What do you expect? Mids attacking the hib keeps in Albland? Wouldnt that be stupid hehe, when we're trying to get relics?

Wasn't playing Sunday pm (flying to Mumbai) but a sincere gratz to Hibs & mids. You took advantage of a public raid. Fair enough, nothing wrong with that at all. For the albs on the raid 'that had a choice', you made the right one to stay and do ML's. Relics can obtained again.

90% of the posts in this thread are just the same kiddies making the same dumbass comments they always do. Mostly just flamebaiting. Some don't seem to be able to rationalise between RL and a game which is a bit scarey.

simple some albz (there r some that have their sences still) consider mids and hibz took relics in PvE style albz used to get them lately (only difference is they had at least 240 in pve and some more in rvr while when they took relics there where max 10-20 ppl online in total on the other side)

than they accuse hibz and mids of HIBGARD alliance and xrealming ... so i gotta ask mids why u where killing my poor ranger all the time when i was shooting albz and u where jumping me??? (ok i shooted mids as well but i im rp horny hehe) we could have splited them as we got alliance

Thats not true.

One of the first relics albs took in NF started in prime time and was finished by 10pm GMT iirc correctly. I certainly recall being there, it being daylight/afternoon when things started and a sizeable number of middies defending the mile gate when we got there.

This is an aside though. The mids earned their relic. It happened in the afternoon so all this "non-primetime" whining is just BS. Strikes me as a perfcetly good time of day to start a nice protracted battle against Albion for relics.

Ultimately Albion had a choice, ML or Relics. Not necessarily a wrong decision, if everyone had fun and got the MLs they wanted.

Get real, everyone knows that while cross-realming could happen on a strategic level, where it is really only common sense (like some Hib raid leaders saying "Mids are sieging Sursbrooke so let's not go there but instead head for Boldiam"), it will never happen on a tactical level with two zergs. Most people live to squeeze RPs out of people with red titles, there is simply no chance Joe Casual is going to refrain from attempting to kill each other.

From hib perspective, the things that happended are as followed..

I woke up at around the same time mids took Beno. I got a tell by Ojaas forcing me to log in and grab the other relics, cuz mids were relic raiding, and albs were on Eggy's ML rush. I logged in and joined Elfduzter's BG, which apparently was a keep take BG for berkstead which they had just taken, was 30-40 hibs in the bg at that time. I had a little talk with Elfduzter and we decided to take the BG to boldiam to see what our chances were on taking our str relic there. Needless to say, there was already too many albs there and way too few hibs. We then decided to go to Sursbrooke which was already under siege by a few hibs, we figured out that we could divide the alb force by taking surs, which would open the alb str temple. By the time we got there the wall was on 15% or so and we had the entire BG(70ish) smash on the wall lol. After we took the keep we wanted the entire BG(90-100) to hurry to castle excalibur before the mids did. but half the bg got split and we all died T_T half the bg died to mids at the relic gate and the rest.. dunno, died aswell i guess. we all released and went to boldiam while the mids were fighting albs at excalibur. we got the relic from boldiam and Lamara's grp took it back to hib. By this time both alb relic gates were open and stajjijjon said that there was almost no albs at excalibur. We guessed that mids got killed there and went for the pwr relic instead. we went to the alb str relic and took that, my grp got it back to hibland. Rest of the bg went to hurbury to try and take the last relic alb had. But we died there cuz the mids took the pwr relic just before we got there, which meant that every single alb were at hurbury. We died and called it a day. :x

we pushed mids back from the power relic shrine once (they came in in dribs and drabs) but the second time they just didn't stop coming ...

on a positive note: got to fight in new and interesting situations first time I've been in a relic temple defence anyway
