Relic Raid Sunday 8:00am (?)

Since you Albs failed your Primetime Raid on Friday,
and now your (late) morning raid, do we have to expect you
at the usual Alb-Raid-Time ?
8:00am in the morning on a Sunday ?

Just wondering if I need to make some Screenies of those shiny Relics.

I would suggest getting up at 4-00am. Dont know if relics will be raided, but the thought of all those mids aborting sleep for a game pleases me.

00:00am - 04:00am is prime time for a lot of Mids during weekend

...but I doubt any Mid will get up for an 8:00am raid, never happened atleast

Hmm 8 am gmt is 11:00 where i live. Logged in once at this time. Asked in /gu what's happening and was told that mids zerg at amg emain.

Rather pointless discussing times of raids as all realms will raid at ungodly hours, so no one can look down on other realms for raiding at funny times.

More to the point though - you Mid chaps seem to know a lot about our relic raid plans. Funnily enough it was only when a spontaneous idea occured to Desdecado today that we actually managed to pull off a succesful relic raid.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but it doesn't mean that spies are not being deployed.

aye, i wasnt there myself, but wasnt supprised last night when before the first attempt even movedout of the PK our infils were reporting a minimum of 4 fg's camping the amg in odins... how odd.

Just to set it straight for misinformed ppl like you: Most of mids were killing legion at the time of the big battle at amg. Those of us who wasnt on legionraid went emain to farm. Why the hell shouldnt we? No difference between Elf and Briton there... just GIFV RPZ!

Been watching for your raid(s) since we took our strength relic back. Several officers from various guilds in the command cg last night agreed it would be extremely unlikely that there WOULDN'T be a relic raid today. So we took some precautions and I went so far as to set the guild motd to be aware there may be an attempted relic raid against us on Saturday.

However, just because Albs MAY do something doesn't stop Midgard going about its daily fun

Was proud of the Midgard peeps last night, and even though I couldn't be on today, proud again when I got on for a quick chat with peeps and found out about today's attempted raid.

Having said all that: it was damned good fun last night out in the frontier, gratz to the Albs (and Hibs) that were out there for massive pitched battles at various points throughout Odin's Gate as well as the stand up fight outside Grallahorn itself.

Topnotch fun, and a big part of why we play this game.

Don't blame you we did that a very long time aswell, but I think most of the times the apposing realm knows in advance it is due to some Realmm8 blabering on on irc.
Anyway I can't be bothered to worry about spy's anymore... decided that some time ago

sometimes its just amazing bad luck

I recall a major middie relic attack was foiled at excal in next to no time. There was major bickering on IRC that some LAME albion spy gave the middie plans away, actually the answer was more straightforwards. I was sat at the doors when 50 of you steamed up and killed me.

Now not being a rocket scientist, it still didnt take me long to spot the rams. Sent a couple of /sends, and 100 albs appeared. No spies, just bad timing.

Also, some of the attacks are somewhat predictable, u can often guess whats happening, specially when u start seeing SB's campin areas and Not killing... hm must be scouting then...

No doubt there are spys in every realm, and every alliance. Its sad if people think that by telling people this cross realm information they think they are making the game *more* fun.

However no good whining anout it, its part of the mental tactics of the game. The plan this afternoon worked to get hib relic (does 3pm saturday count as peak time?) because we actually had a decent number of people, we had a simple plan that we agreed on, we were well kitted to do the job. We also knew that people wouldnt be suprised by a zerg of 60 albs in emain... erm suprise we werent zerging emain!! Was quite interesting that we lost a group to LD (which had some of our rams) and they got trapped at AMG, 20 or so mids camping it. Our boys and girls kept em amused whilst we robbed the hibs....

Then great 2 way / 3 way scrap at AMG, and relic snook thru. Probably a good afternoons entertainment for 140 or more players...

Thanks to the guys who came and played, be you middie, hibbie, albion, spy or whatever. I had a blast.

well, look like you are stick whit your spy here and spy there conclusions.
many mids have now bind in svasud where is horse ride to yggdra, or short run to uppland relic keep.
i was yesterday, when heard alb was mjolle, xp:ng whit alt in muspel, logged to main and horse to yggdra, check gralla situation.
everything fine and keeped run to odin, and amg, where get killed from alb who was coming back.
reported whole time /as, like we all do offcourse?! how many albs, heading out? and what they was doing.
autoreleased and headed from uppland to jamtland, did many time /who jamtland, yggdra,uppland and notice how our numbers was growing whole time.
example in thid was only 2-3 no anon mids.

dont be so stupid and believe we dont waite you after 1 raid in friday, offcourse there is someone allways patrolling, watching in relics and odin.
instead it was fun to see how much mids enjoy this, and ready to do what needed.
numbers? well lets say there was alott mids, needed quite fast 2nd cg, dunno if there was 3rd?
good luck, or bad luck? but if your raid dont go as planned, dont allways blame spy, maybe 1 raid from 9 is succesfull.
