its a 24/7 game, so grats albies, I guess.... I hope this is a wee wake up call to the organised rvr 'leetists'... if it is then at least something good can be gained from this.


What I cant get is when NF came out, everyone was bitching about zerging, including the leetists... so what do you do? You create an arena that is a complete zerg on all 3 sides.... w00t well played, thats really the best way to stop zerging....

not very surprising it would happen really, theres people with many different interests playing this game. very often there's a certain group of albs out very late at night that enjoy playing together and if there's no other groups out to fight you'll find them bashing keeps or whatever gives a bit of action

current situation leaves hib very fragile and it kinda relies on trusting "enemies" to keep it in balance, but unfortunately until we get the new island there is no other way to guarantee good action during primetime. a bad thing is that many groups only come out if they have easy access to another realm, usually groups of more casual gamers

taking relics with a fg and a bit or so is challenging in a way because the guards are really tough to kill. also, at the least bit of defence you can get wiped very easily. for example a solo nightshade or mage that knows what he's doing can solo that entire group when they're bashing on a tower , keep or relic keep. in that way hibs have been really incompetent or totally nonexistant at this mornings defence - i have no idea , i was still asleep

can't really blame them for giving it a shot, even though losing relics means destroying a very very fine balance (remember str relics and shouts shooting for 1k? wasnt really fun then). i think relics should be a reward for good teamplay within the realm, not the reward of lack of defence. not much fun in that..

but it seems many people give more about the roleplaying value of the game, keeping your own keeps secure, defending your relics - or capturing them, farming easy rps than the "elitist" way to play, finding a challenges and leaving people have their own fight.

when we take those relics back i hope it will be at primetime and it will be fun for both realms involved, with lots of action and planning. that beats taking them back in the morning any day, only reason i care about relics is because they destroy balance, its the fun of the large scale raid that makes it worth attempting to capture them.. not the need to do some more dmg

LOL This was not a orgnised relic raid, just people following what our realm task was !!, Unlock Hibernias Power Relic gates, so we did it with out a fuss and we got a present, if u guys do /journal and work as a team then u can do it aswell, and this was not alarm clock raid, it was just some people left away from the behn keep take for filling the task for our realm nuff said for me, if u want to QQ then blame the QUEST NOT THE ALBS !!

I think you need to learn to read ... here, let me help:

- Realm Missions - These are granted to all players in each realm at 7 a.m. GMT+1 each day. Once a Realm Mission is complete, a new one will not be granted to the realm for 60 minutes.

So ... let's see ... If it WAS based on the quests that were given then it would have to fill one of these criteria:

capture an enemy keep and all of that keep's towers,
open Darkness Falls,
open an enemy realm's relic gate.

I think the chances of recieving "Open An Enemy Realm's Relic Gate" at 5am ... pretty slim. As for the other 2 criteria:

I was there for most of it (I sleep funny hours, blame work) not ONCE did i see this criteria fulfilled.

You cannot recieve another quest until the previous one is finished AND you must wait 60 minutes to recieve the next one. Is this random? I dunno tbh. Maybe YOU can answer since you seem to act like the most clever person here. Personal quests are random, Group quests are also random, so i would take a wild guess that Realm quests are also random.
In order to get the 3 keeps, that just happen to control both of hibs relics would be ... woah ... the odds are pretty slim tbh. And then you do this:
Take tower infront of keep door (t2 i think) take keep, bugger off to next keep. Hence you NEVER fulfilled the criteria for one of the quests.

The ones in keeps/towers are indeed random the ones at borderkeeps allow you to choose a type, and for group ones a specific objective (if you can be bothered changing it until you gt random unclaimed tower #5)

oh and the last two mid RR's have been primetime..cant remember when alb/hibs last did that...oh and someone mentioned mids/hibs couldnt do primetime due to crashes? heh think someone got his history mixed up abit..that was albs trying to primetime raid mids..and the server kept crashing "OF" then you did the 2x night time engage am raids. on mjol.

other than that it's a 24/7 game, people will do what they want to do, nothing to do about that, so might as well accept it for what it is. on a side note people keep talking about AC raids..when has one of thease "actually" last taken place ? or is it simply due to the term "ac" holding a higher flame value ? or is it by default an ac raid past a certin hr, clocks or no clocks ? or is it only when the opposing realm takes a relic between the hours of 24:00-15:00 ? tbh getting abit tiered of that term..someone come up with a new one

grats albs enjoy em while you can, come cluster i'm guessing str reilcs will be in mid, pow relics in hib, as it's been and as it should be

well what can be said, other than that its agreed by the vast majority that Alarmclock raids are puny and weak.

That said considering the hib population one can have some understanding, however mid and hib population are quite close at the moment, numberwise.
The REALLY sad part is that hib could with ease take mid relics daytime if they actually tried to take em.

by popping keeps with "non zerg" size numbers, but organised and effective.
Since mid interest for defence is at an alltime low.

Alarmclock raids are always lame, the scary thing is that the revenge takeback of the relics will most likely be Alarmclock also.

I don't need to spy in BG's .. i just go an pwn j00 all with my leet un-sc'd NS
And cross-realming is against the CoC ... i like my accounts so i think i'll stick to the normal way of playing. :worthy:
