We had about 4-5 Hib fg standing at HMG to grant incoming relic carrier ssafe passage, expecting albs... but all we ever saw was 1fg Mids who tailed the heck out of there when they saw us ( ; Later at Druim Cain 2 fg NP tried to stop the 10+ fg Hibs, very valiant attempt lads ( ;

But why were Mids the only ones trying to stop us? ( :

Well Ensceptica here's the scenario(my story that is):

Was in Odins along with some other albs moving in on Nortmoor.

Hear rumours Myrrdin is under attack so I log my mincer inside Myrrdin to confirm and yes there were hibs. I start screaming in all channels available. Log back my wiz just as relic becomes neutral. Run at snailpace to suicide at nearest keep.

Back in our fair realm I grab a horse to pk. As I arrive relic already passed through HW so I port to emain and get ganked by mids at amg.

Problem was that no one, at least from what I know, knew that the relic was under attack before it turned neutral and with logistics probs and all there was nothing to do.

Gonna take some good strategy to keep a powerrelic in Alb for a longer period of time.

Myrrdin is miles away from anything, unlike dagda which is quite frankly in the middle of a 3-way warzone. It's not very difficult for hibs to spot a relic raid in progress.

2 reasons why we lost it imo
1) lack of scouting frontiers .
2) we shouldnt of taken pow relic we should of taken 3rd st relic on our last raid . because 2 relic keeps to scout/defend is a lot harder than 1 .

3) crappy alliance network . to many guilds are in Small 2-3 guild alliences . 1st we heard of raid was when you were on 3rd door an it was about to drop . by time i got to suavage relic was neutral . by time i got to berk/surs it was through hmg .

Yep Myrrdin is a bitch hard relic keep to get to, the hardest of all 6. Even if rvr was common in hadrians, and ppl travelled through snowdonia they wouldnt know if a relic raid was in progress

Its almost as far from snowdonia border keep as hadrians wall is, and not much closer than benowyc.

Still no excuse, if albs want their power relic they need someone to check it every 15 min.

sucky.. when you took the relic from hibs, we had 3-4 fgs or so standing and waiting for the carrier team, and we had reports from locations of the team all the way from relic to bolg to amg, and we let you pass with that small grp

and SoS ability was already taken care off, had plans of where to attack to make you use it too soon etc ^^

but we figured it was better to let albs get it back for 0 bonus to remove 10% from hibs, and everyone seemed to agree on that.. So go take it back or something pls :>

Well done to all hibs for keeping this one quiet, no leaks and still turning out a good force is a great achievement especially with so many having doble accounts on the same server.

Cant understand how more of a force didnt get to hmg to stop us though. It came across the cg that we had been spotted as soon as we started on the first door.

Tbh i think the albs were duped by the speed of the raid. As they said they didn't even realise that we were attacking till their relic went neutral. Call it bad scouting or whateva, when the albs attacked hibs relic everyone knew what was going on, and 40 hibs or so even grouped up and attacked dagda, but both doors were down by then and just too many albs who destroyed the hibs. Because the hibs all went to dagda there was no time left to get to amg/emain, but mids had pleanty of time to organise from the time they knew about albs at dagda.

Last night was different thoguh. It took us approximately 50 minutes from the point where we set out to attack to reach the relic, take it and return to dagda with it. Still i was surprised that the only real resistance we recieved was from the 2fg Mids outside cain

Has to be said overall it was shockingly easy - goes to show what you can do with good organisation and high speed. Bet the grand total of 4 albs defending the RK got some nice rps though.
