Relic door lvls lowered? Conspiracy?

So they lowered the lvls of the relic keep doors to lvl 8

Who did the middies pay to acheive this

I demand a public enquiry.

I don't necessarily believe its a conspiracy, but it does make me wonder why.

I mean, yes it costs more to upgrade the doors, but that money is easy to get, esp if you have a guild "bank".

I am willing to hunt tanglers, as boring as they are, for money for wood and siege equip. With so many of us reaching 45+ it does seem odd since that sort of money is easy to get in a day.

It didnt just cost "more" to repair before it cost unbelievable more.

Like 10 times more.

Now we are down to about 3 plats per door, I believe the exact number is 2.55 plat (ironwood) in next patch.

Hmmm, I read somewhere a post that mentioned another server (could have been excal, or another language server, not sure) where the mids and albs were playing ping-pong with the relics. And neither of those realms had enough money to repair their relic doors between the realms. They were both broke. I'm very sure that this decision from Goa was largely based on that situation, not the one on prydwen.

Easy to get? Heh to repair three lv 10 doors you'd need an insane amount of money

yep, excal was all relic doors broken, hibs maybe not!
but there relic was changing place like mad, and nobody had more money to put those doors.
know feeling, i offer after alb relic raid over half my gc:s, luckily have some good armouries and axe´s in vault. dont need so much.
but this is so fun! anything happens, and is Midgards fault.

3 level 10 doors is in the region of 15 plat to repair and 3 level 8 doors is about 7 plat, these are estimates but I am sure someone knows the exact costs.

copple hour later i ask if they allready fix doors
and if not, how much more need.
reply "still need close 15-20 platinum"

i pick up my axe, and start run to forest, thinking how many mobs need kill for 1 platinum (1 mob ~30 silver), fast calc and stop there, laughing like hyena.

I heard it was the same on Broccoli server too - the relic doors on all realms are all stood wide open as no-one can afford to repair them.

the relics change hands ever few days.


i think i worked out that it would take 3000 ebon wood to repair a keep door at lvl 10.

also, in the new patch as well as being lvl 8, it will not actually requier so much wood?

Hmm wonder just how much easier level 8 doors are to knock down than lvl 10 doors...

I mean if the doors are getting bashed in frequently (as now appears to be the case) then surely the economics idea works out in -favour- of higher level doors? They won't get kicked in so often or so easily and thus won't require complete rebuilds every 5 hours.

Just an idea from a stupid inf, but I fail to understand the logic of this move from GOA and frankly it's kinda annoying that when we finally get our grubby hands on half the relics, their defense is lowered by 'the powers that be' with absolutely no form of recourse on our part.

I dont think they said anywhere, that you cant upgrade em once repaired Jadow, so you can still have lvl 10 doors if you really want i think.

In a soon to come patch doors will require half as much wood, but twice as much time to repair, they will also be strengthed so they dont go down so fast.
